Independent Western journalists uncover Ukrainian fakes in an upwind battle. Eva K. Barlett’s reports.

I have previously mentioned such independent Western journalists on-the-ground in Eastern Ukraine/DPR/LNR as Graham Phillips and Patrick Lancaster. I have newly become aware of one more such hands-on reporter there – Eva K. Barlett.

Reporting from Ukraine or telling the truth from Ukraine is a difficult, upwind batle resulting in de-platforming, de-financing of the journalists and threats to personal life and health of the journalists who dare to report from within Ukraine, especially if they are on the territory controlled by the Kiev ukro-Nazi regime. This was experienced first-hand by Gonzalo Lira, who was whisked away and made to keep silence, or else… I wrote about it in Gonzalo Lira may have been murdered by the ukro-Nazis in Khrakov. Where Is Gonzalo Lira? — UPDATE: appears alive after an SBU detention

A news outlet, Consortium News became de-financed by PayPal, with its accound holding potentially robbed. Their guilt – not towing the Party line.

Spanish news outlet Rebelión has a lot on Ukraine with one article standing out: Ucrania, fábrica de fake news – an important read for the Spanish-language world on the background of the conflict, which MSM are mute about.

Did Josep Borrell just invite the Russian Army to Washington?

In the yesterday’s tweet Josep Borrell made one statement, with which I fully agree.

And a screenshot if the tweet is deleted:

There is a saying that one should be careful of one’s wishes lest they become reality, but not in the way one thought they would.

Yes, “this war will be won on the battlefield”, but, just like in the ages past, it will be won by Russia. And extrapolating the not so recent history:

The Napoleonic wars were finished in 1814 by the Russian troops in Paris.

The German Nazi wars was ended in 1945 by the Russian troops in Berlin.

The USNATO Nazi war (with ukro-Nazis as proxies) will be ended in 202x by the Russian troops in… Washington?

The way the economic warfare by the US/EU/NATO is expanded and how the Russian exclave in Kaliningrad is ever more blockaded, it look like the US and EU are all set for an all out hot WWIII…

In the best case scenario, “this war will be won on the battlefield” of Ukraine, with Russia securing the Russian lands, and USNATO, not wishing to push their luck further, will be looking for a diplomatic way out.

The courageous granny who stood up to the mocking Ukrainian soldiers

In the pencil drawing on the right, the shadow of the old woman standing her ground is the iconic “Motherland Calling” poster of The Great Patriotic War. Here is that drawing in a greater resolution:

UPDATE: the minute granny has become a powerful living legend. Here is another, artistic, rendition of her image:

UPDATE 2: In Reutov, near Moscow, huge graffiti was created with a Ukrainian grandmother, who was mocked by the radicals of Ukraine because of the flag of the USSR. The author is reportedly a local artist. Earlier, images with the old woman appeared in the Murmansk and Belgorod regions. View the video of the painting process.

UPDATE 3: A video with comments from the foreign viewers embedded towards the end, to the “Sacred War”, the anthem of the fight against Nazism during the Great Patriotic War. It was great that the concern for her safety was raised at the UN level.

The video below made the headlines. It is quite heart-wrenching to watch as the Ukrainian soldiers are making a mockery of the elderly Ukrainian pair. I am writing a transcript below the video, and if it gets removed from YouTube, I’ll re-upload it to Odysee.

Ukraine killed civilians in Kramatorsk with “Tochka-U” in a false flag for Borell’s visit to Kiev

Kiev is churning out deadly false flags and provocations faster, than it is possible to analyse and disprove them.

Today Kiev military launched a “Tochka-U” missile at a railway station in Kramatorsk, killing several civilians. “Tochka-U” is an old ballistic missile system, used by Ukriane. Russia does not have it in its arsenal as it’s been fully superseded by “Iscander”. Being a ballistic missile., it is easy to calculate where it was launched from, and even who in the division in question pushed the “launch” button. And this was already done both by the Russian military and by an independent analyst.

Yet, Josep Borell, who is now sitting in Kiev, immediately accused Russia, as if waiting for the false flag:

Zelensky immediately said that it was “Tochka-U” (which, again, Russian forces do not have). Note how the Ukies wrote “For the children” on the rocket to make it look as if it is a retaliation:

In the meantime, Arestovich, the propaganda mouthpiece of the Kiev regime wrote on Twitetr about “Iscander”, while the tail part of the rocket in Kramatorsk is definitely a “Tochka-U”.

Here are the calculations, done by Yuri Podoljaka:

Flight trajectory, based on where the tail part fell (which always falls earlier then the warhead) and the final point of impact of the warhead:

Ukraine used cluster bomb, killing civilians in Donetsk, yet the “civilised” West did not notice. Again.

According to the reports from Donetsk, the warhead of Tochka-U missile was loaded with 50 cassettes of clustered charges. After the interception, fragment of the rocket fell on the city not far away from the target, and one cluster exploded, causing death of the civilians, including women and a child. Shortly before that, a fake invitation was placed on the social media, asking women to gather in the center of the city, reportedly to get information about the state of their men fighting at the front, thus luring victims to the point of attack. If it were not intercepted, the death toll would have been in the order of hundreds of people.

“The Alley of Angels. To the memory of the killed children of Donbass.”

From Sputnik news Moscow Disheartened by US, EU Silence on Deaths of Donetsk Civilians in Ukrainian Missile Attack

20 people were killed and 36 more were injured on Monday after a Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical ballistic missile exploded in the heart of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s capital. The Russian Foreign Ministry characterised the attack as a “crime against humanity” and warned that it would “not go unpunished.”
Moscow is disappointed over Western silence in the wake of the 14 March attack on Donetsk civilians, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov has said.

“We are very, very disappointed that European leaders, my colleague [White House press secretary Jen] Psaki, her boss, US President Joe Biden, the leaders of international organisations, the leadership of NATO, have not said anything yesterday or today about Donetsk, or those civilian residents who died from the missile launched by the Ukrainian military,” Peskov said, speaking at a briefing with reporters on Tuesday.
“I will not give any personal assessment on this matter. I just want to state this and urge everyone to pay attention to this fact,” Peskov added.
A Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missile equipped with cluster munitions was shot down over the centre of the city of Donetsk on Monday, killing 20 civilians and injuring 36 others.
Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov suggested that the shelling of the Donetsk People’s Republic using such illegal cluster munitions was evidence that Ukrainian forces were seeking to kill as many civilians as possible, and said a decision on the Tochka-U’s use would require approval from the Ukrainian military leadership in Kiev.

Russia claims Ukraine destroying evidence of US-funded bioweapons program – RT

More news regarding the network of 15 American biological laboratories in Ukraine including research centres in Odessa, Vinnytsia, Uzhgorod, Lviv, Kiev, Kherson, Ternopil, as well as two suspicious objects in Kharkiv and Nikolaev. Many of these laboratories have achieved biosafety Level 2 status, which allows scientists to experiment with viruses and bacteria.

From RT:

Russia claims Ukraine destroying evidence of US-funded bioweapons program

As Russian troops entered Ukraine, the government in Kiev ordered the “emergency destruction” of pathogens including plague and anthrax at US-funded laboratories near the Russian border, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claimed on Sunday. Earlier rumors that the Russian military was targeting US-run biolabs were written off as conspiracy theories, but the ministry has promised to back up its claims with documents.

“We have received documentation from employees of Ukrainian biolaboratories on the emergency destruction on February 24 of especially dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases,” read a statement from the ministry.

The statement accused the “Kiev regime” of conducting an “emergency cleansing” to hide evidence of the supposed biological weapons program, which the ministry claimed was funded by the US, and involved the production of “biological weapons components” at at least two laboratories in the cities of Poltava and Kharkov, both of which have seen intense fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces in recent days.

The documents published by the ministry purportedly include an order from the Ukrainian Ministry of Health to destroy the pathogens, and lists of the germs in question.

Russia is yet again ending a war that others started

It has been said many times before that Russia ends wars that other start. This current denazification of Ukraine is no different.

Russian Foreign Ministry is right in saying:

War in Ukraine started 8 years ago, Russia is now ending it – Moscow

The West spent eight years ignoring the “sea of blood” in Donbass while arming Ukraine, and now claims Moscow is the aggressor when it stepped in to end the conflict, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told RT on Thursday.

“Russia did not commit aggression of any kind,” Zakharova insisted. “This did not start yesterday. There’s a sea of blood that’s appeared over the past 8 years,” she added, referring to the conflict in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which Russia on Monday recognized as independent states.

I’ve been keeping an eye on the Ukrainian transgressions, while recounting the history of the Rus lands on these pages since the NATO-backed NAZI coup d’etat of 2014… The NAZI atrocities are well-documented in these July 2014 archived posts: https://stanislavs.org/2014/07/

In 2014 the following strip appeared to show the concerned bear, looking askance at the growing bloody tentacles of NATO. The time for pruning has come, to add those tentacles to the compost heap of History, where 1812, 1853, 1941 and many other tentacles are deposited.

Major Ukrainian Military Provocation in the Kerch Strait

The provocation that many have been anticipating after the EU’s Mogerini earlier basically hinted to Proshenko that he should stage something in the Sea of Azov (the inner Russian/Ukrainian sea), has now taken place.

The Ukrainian vessels breached the accord of 2003 and failing to notify the Russian sear traffic controllers in the city of Kerch plunged on through the strait, thus violating the Russian territorial waters.

They ignored the demands to stop and started dangerous manoeuvres at which point the Russian Coast Guard had to intervene and stop the Ukrainian rouge vessels. Among other things, a terrorist attack on the bridge was feared – the Ukrainian politicians have many times aired the idea of performing a terrorist act on the Kerch bridge.

FSB now published the documents, seized on the Ukrainian vessels, where the captain was ordered to enter the Sea of Azov covertly, taking off all their Ukrainian markers and identifications (in Ukrainian):

Newsflash: Ukraine is amassing troops on Donbass border – preparing for an invasion during World Cup in Russia

Reposting the alert from Futurist Trendcast:

This has been in the works for months and DPR and LPR have been warning that Kiev is preparing an all-out attack against both Donetsk and Lugansk during World Cup 2018 in Russia. I warned about it since last year, too.

Ukraine seem to be now fully prepared to escalate the hostilities from their daily shelling of the residential areas and murder of the civilians to a full-fledges invasion and genocide of the population of Donbass!

Scary Death Throws of a Dying Empire

The American Empire is on the decline. That is for the whole word to see already – from the American fake news, fake accusations, unprovoked aggressions, provocations, unfounded sanctions. Some may call them “fits”, but they look more like death throws of a dying empire. The bigger an empire is the harder it falls, and it seldom happens peacefully. It took 2 world wars and aggressive policy towards Russia (resulting in the 1917 coup d’etat) for the British Empire to fade away. The American Empire is bigger and far less sophisticated, yet much more aggressive.

The Empire sees a world war as an only way to salvage itself, and is thus doing everything it can to start such a war – from inflamation of the Middle East, to provocation of North Korea, to provocation of Russia and alienation of the Western Europe. It is now (as always) up to Russia to balance things out and to prevent a disaster. It happened before – with the Teutonic knights, Napoleon, Hitler, and countless others who dreamt of world domination… (I would refer readers to Lada Ray’s Great Balancer theory, which puts the geopolitical and historical events into a perspective that makes perfect sense.)

This time, though, it seems the US are about to raise the stakes and risk total human extinction by the means of weaponised viruses. As revealed by the following article:

‘Weaponizing viruses’? US Air Force places ad for bio samples from Russians

The US Air Force is looking to acquire samples of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and synovial fluid from Russians, according to a government website used to place tenders. The reason behind the order hasn’t been specified.

The Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command has placed a listing on the Federal Business Opportunities website asking for at least 12 RNA samples from Russian people of a European ancestry, as well as 27 samples of synovial fluid.

Suppliers of the samples must meet a number of requirements.

“All Normal Human Fresh Frozen (FF) Synovial Tissue and Normal Human Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) samples must be Russian / Caucasian origin,” reads the contract’s technical specifications. “All FF Synovial tissue and RNA samples must come from normal donors, who have no musculoskeletal injuries. This shall be confirmed by pathology. All FF synovial tissue must have a weight greater than or at a minimum of 0.25 grams.

“All RNA samples must be frozen. Synovial Tissues and RNA samples can be unmatched, meaning from different donors. All Synovial Tissue and RNA samples must be HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis negative.”

All samples must “be collected from Russia and must be Caucasian. The Government will not consider tissue samples from Ukraine,” the contract added.

The thing is, as previous genetic studies showed, Ukrainian (Malorossian), Russian, Belorussian, Rusin genomes are identical. It would not be far fetched to say, that such a weaponised virus would also target Serbians, all central European Slavs, and Scandinavians. Moreover, tiny mutations and unforeseen consequences may lead to the virus wiping out the entire human race, maybe leaving chimps and gorillas on the face of the Earth, but maybe taking them out too.

In other words, the above is the single most scary piece of news that I’ve read these past years – worse than all of the American saber-rattling combined!

As as post-scriptum: Russian Empire

A reader may ask why I did not mention the Russian Empire and the USSR when talking about collapsing empires. In a way, both USSR and the Russian Empires were anti-Empires. Neither displayed the traits of a classic imperialism. They never had overseas or distant colonies – all lands ascended into Russia on the request of the local elites or through trade treaties. They never pumped resources out of the periphery regions, rather the opposite – such regions as Georgia, Moldavia, the Baltics were developed and invested into at the cost of the core Russian population/territories. They were organised as federations with local regional governments having a lot of say in local affairs (Finland even had its own gold currency, but that was more of a confederation construct).

So, Russia, Russian Empire, USSR, and now Russian Federation experienced difficulties throughout history, and under Western pressure they seemed to disintegrate, to fall. However, if you take a step back, Russia still stands within its more or less same borders, and the parts that got chipped away through military or political machinations eventually discover that they became weakened and depleted by their Western “benefactors” and eventually seek back to strength and security in unity.

Breaking! American military UAV over Donbass! Plus, 3rd anniversary of the MH-17 shoot-down

Today, on the 3rd anniversary of the Malaysian Airlines MH-17 shoot-down over Ukraine, USA made a surprising appearance over Donbass.

Here is a translation of a report from Argumenty i Fakty of 17th of July 2017:

A strategic unmanned aerial vehicle of the U.S. Air Force RQ-4A Global Hawk made on a Sunday a multi-hour reconnaissance mission along the demarcation line in Donbass, Interfax reports.

It is reported that the machine flew from an air base in Sigonella, Sicily and spent a few hours flying at an altitude of about 17 kilometres from north to south along the demarcation line between Ukraine and the self-proclaimed DNR and LNR, but did not cross it.

After the assignment, it left the Ukrainian airspace north of Moldova.

It is noted that the capabilities of the drone allow it to monitor a radius of up to 300 km, so it could monitor the entire territory of Donbass, and also the border regions of Russia.

A UAV like this flew over Donbass

This leads up to questions of what USA are up to – a preparation for an invasion?

In the meantime, the tragedy of the MH-17 shoot-down is remembered, despite the Western foot-dragging in the investigation, and despite the general withholding of information from the public. Back in 2014 I wrote that Russia will do everything that the MH-17 shoot-down is not forgotten and that the responsible for the atrocity would be found and punished.

RT commemorates the tragedy with the article

MH17 tragedy: Key questions remain unanswered as int’l probe enters 4th year

Three years after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crashed in Ukraine, crucial questions about the tragedy remain unanswered as international investigators are tied to dubious theories and seem to pay little attention to data provided by Russia.

Remembering the Slain Children of Donbass – #101LIFE

In my previous post I pointed my readers to a documentary about commander Givi. He was a soldier – just like hundreds of other Russian soldiers of Donbass – giving his life defending the land of his father from a Ukro-nazi invasion.

The other tragic side of this war, are all the lives of the people of Donbass lost to the Ukro-nazi artillery shellings, the lives of civilians – women and children, elderly…

I encourage everyone to go to 101 Life – referring to 101 child killed so far, to learn about the victims of the war, and to sign a petition for the Western powers to stop the madness.

Spread the word!

Below are several outstanding songs by Artem Grishanov…

When the enemy is at the gates… At 4:30 onwards, you can see what those brave souls are defending, can you say that that girl, reading a poem with tears in her eyes is the “terrorist” that Poroshenko tries to show the people of Donbass to be?

Here are the “toys” that Poroshenko sends to the children of Donbass – Grad shells and mines… And the children, asking for peace #ИгрушкиДляПорошенко

This is how it started…

Another song, which shows that tragedy of the anger–riddled, brainwashed children of Ukraine. While in Donbass the people wish for peace, for everyone, in Ukraine they talk war. Also, not that while in Ukraine the Ukro-Nazis mistreat the Novorossian flag, in Donbass Zaharchenko carefully folds the Ukrainian flag of a defeated battalion.

A Petition from Lugansk – The Last Cry For Help

This is a lightning translation of the following post on Kont: https://cont.ws/@klimova/521800

Here are the news of the petition signing at Vesti.Ru

While we are watching the developments in Syria, the Ukraine has seen a lot of changes of which I would like to tell.

It turns out that more than 153.000 residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic, signed a petition, where they appeal to the leaders of Russia, USA and Germany, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Angela Merkel with the request to prevent the aggravation of the situation in Donbass.

I will remind that earlier the presidents of the people’s councils of the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Donetsk People’s Republic, Vladimir Degtyarenko and Denis Pushilin, addressed the presidents of Russia and the USA, as well as the Chancellor of Germany, with a request to “stop Poroshenko” so as to end fighting in Donbass and the blockade of the region. Head of The Lugansk People’s Republic, Igor Plotnitskij, stated that LPR and DPR will in the near future start collecting signatures under this appeal.

And here is the result. To be honest, I’m incredibly curious as to how Europe will react to this “cry for help” from Lugansk? After all, everything spearheads to Poroshenko being dumped. Judge for yourself, a couple of days ago Merkel admitted that the Ukrainian crisis has lasted too long and actions need to be taken. Other prominent political actors of the EU have started to notice that Kiev did not follow the obligations, assigned to them by the Minsk agreements.

We shall see what the consequences of such changes will be, but already today it is possible to speak with confidence about drastic changes in such matters as the war in Ukraine.

In Memory of Elizaveta Glinka, Russian Humanitarian Philanthropist, Died in the Plane Crash over the Black Sea. “Doctor Liza, an Amazing Life” Documentary

When I first heard of the crash, the tragic loss of almost the compete Red Army Choir – Alexandrov Ensemble, death of 9 journalists from three Russian channels, what tugged most at my heart, was mentioning of the Elizaveta Glinka’s name on the list of the people lost. She was know among the people by her endearing name Doctor Liza.

Throughout these past 2 years I have been reading about her valiant work, helping the children of the civil war-ravaged Donbass, where civilians, including many children, were (and still are) wounded, maimed and killed by the Ukro-Nazi artillery shellings.

Film: Doctor Liza, an Amazing Life (full English subs) – Доктор Лиза фильм

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC5–zWRqCY

UPDATE 2023: The two short interviews below are no longer available on YouTube.

Grapham Philips, I think the only Western (UK) freelance reporter, who documented the civil war in Donbass, share this fragment of interview with Doctor Liza, that he filmed in April 2016, telling her that “Many people think that you are an angel”:

She replied:

Let them say, Grisha (a kindly russification of Graham), it is funny, it is pleasant, but it’s funny. What kind of angel am I? I am just a common woman. Let them say it. As for work. I am working a lot. This is very hard, and there is nothing angelic in this work, you see. It entails long negotiations with bureaucrats, which are not always successful. See, for example, I just got a list. This is the new list for admissions to hospital. 2 wounded children. 2 blind children. Children born in 2014, that is already during the war. We are going to transport them, they are going to St.Peterburg, as hospitals in Moscow do not have places for such patients – and I want to draw the journalistic attention to this fact. And there are the documents for the children that have already been transported out – we work on each child case individually.

And in this April 2016 interview fragment to Graham, she tells that “Everything is possible”:

There was a girl, who was given a terrible outlook, and Vika (kindly shortening of Victoria), she became well, and was coming up to the guard and would dance – a little swan or some other part, she was making such a show – a child that could not even SIT before, she lay on the arms. So, you see… Everything is possible, Grisha (a kindly russification of Graham).

Doctor Liza, you will be remembered and stay in our hearts. Always.

These two RT articles, aptly capture the mood of this loss:

‘Dr. Liza was a miracle’: Russians horrified as revered humanitarian activist listed on fatal flight

Renowned Russian humanitarian and charity activist Elizaveta Glinka, widely known as Dr. Liza, is feared dead after boarding the plane bound for Syria that crashed Sunday morning off the Sochi coast.

The 54-year-old head of the ‘Fair Help’ fund was supposed to travel to Latakia to deliver medical supplies to a hospital, according to the Human Rights Council.

Her fund also said that Glinka was “taking humanitarian supplies for the Tishreen university hospital in Latakia,” while the Defense Ministry confirmed the passenger list included her name.

There was some confusion regarding Glinka’s fate after the plane stopped over in Sochi for refueling. Several news outlets reported that she failed to board the flight after a security check.

As time passed, however, her mobile phone remained hopelessly switched off.

Eventually, Elena Pogrebizhskaya, author of a documentary film on Doctor Liza, wrote on her Facebook page: “Liza’s phone is out of coverage. She has not been in touch with anyone for 11 hours. This includes her family. Gleb [Glinka’s husband] says he wants to be alone… This is a nightmare.”

This was an additional shock to Russians on top of the death of the 64 members of the Alexandrov army choir.

“We were hoping for a miracle until the very last moment. And she was a miracle herself, a heaven-sent message of virtue,” head of the Presidential Council for Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov told Interfax.

“Dr. Lisa was the darling of all hearts for one simple reason. For many years, almost every day, she provided palliative medical care, feeding the homeless, giving them shelter and clothes. She took the sick and injured children from Donbass under a hail of bullets, so that they could get help in the best hospitals in Moscow and St Petersburg. She organized a shelter for children with amputated limbs, where they can undergo rehabilitation after treatment in hospital.

“To save the lives of others – this was her mission everywhere: in Russia, Donbass, Syria…” Fedotov added.

Born into a military family, which also includes a famous dietitian, Glinka graduated from the Russian National Research Medical Institute in Moscow to become a pediatric anesthesiologist. In 1986, she and her husband emigrated to the US, where she studied palliative care and graduated from Dartmouth. In America, she became involved with the work of hospices. Glinka later participated in the work of the First Moscow Hospice, after which the family moved to Ukraine for two years. In 1999, she founded the first hospice in Kiev.

In 2007, Glinka founded the ‘Fair Help’ fund in Moscow, which provides financial support and medical care to cancer patients, underprivileged families, the homeless, and others in need.

Last year, Dr. Liza organized an evacuation of children with heart conditions who were in need of urgent medical help, from Donbass to Russian hospitals. Parents and doctors told RT that due to the humanitarian crisis, it was impossible to treat them locally.

Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave out state awards for outstanding achievements in charity and human rights activities. Glinka was the winner of the first award, saying she would soon travel to Syria.

“We never know whether we come back alive, because the war – is hell on earth, and I know what I’m talking about. But we are confident that goodness, compassion and mercy are stronger than any weapon,” Glinka said, receiving the award.

Human rights activist Lyudmila Alexeyeva, founding member of the Moscow Helsinki Watch Group, said Glinka’s death was a huge loss.

“She was a saint, had enough strength for everyone, and was ready to help both the homeless and children,” Alexeyeva told TASS.

“It’s hard to speak about her, this is a huge loss, people like Dr. Liza are born once in a thousand years,” the human rights activist added. According to Alekseeva, Glinka was carrying a large amount of humanitarian aid to Syria.

Former human rights envoy Vladimir Lukin told TASS he was shocked by the tragedy.

“I am shocked. She was a wonderful person, she has done a lot of good things,” he said.

Those who never met Dr. Liza have also been deeply saddened by the tragic news.

“Eternal Memory # doktorLiza! Thank you for helping our children,” Aleksey Dyatlov wrote on Twitter.

“A human with a capital H, and a woman of action! Will never forget! Everlasting memory!” Aleksey Chenskykh wrote.

“Why is it that the best are the first to leave,” Nikita Kuznetsov asked.

People have been bringing flowers and candles to the office of the ‘Fair Help’ fund in Moscow.

“She was a miracle. She did things that most people thought were impossible to do. But that’s exactly what Elizaveta was all about. She worried about her colleagues to the point where she preferred to travel to hot spots herself,” Lana Zhurkina, Dr. Liza’s former colleague, told Life.ru.

A young mother in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, whose child Elizaveta Glinka helped when it suffered a serious disease, shared her sorrow with journalists.

“My daughter was diagnosed with congenital heart defect, she had to be urgently operated on. We met her [Glinka] in Donetsk – she sent us to St. Petersburg, where the child was successfully operated on, on the second day of [its] life.”

“This is a terrible tragedy, she has helped so many children, so many adults, and provided hope and faith,” the woman said.

A Russian Defense Ministry medical facility is to be named after the renowned humanitarian activist, Deputy Minister of Defense Ruslan Tsalikov told journalists.

“The humanitarian cargo of the ‘Fair Help’ fund was sent by another aircraft. It is already in the airport of Khmeimim, and of course we will finish Elizaveta Glinka’s job,” Tsalikov added.

Meanwhile the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that a children’s clinic in Grozny has been named after humanitarian activist Elizaveta Glinka.

“Dr. Liza devoted herself to the most noble cause – saving children,” Kadyrov wrote on Instagram. “She had a brilliant medical training and could have worked in some clinic, but she chose the hard path of helping those, who could not get help from elsewhere.”

Chechen leader Kadyrov names hospital after killed Russian philanthropist Doctor Liza

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has given an order to rename the republic’s main children’s hospital after famous Russian doctor and charity activist Elizaveta Glinka, also known as Doctor Liza, who died in the plane crash off Sochi’s coast on Sunday.

“I have decided to name the republic’s Children’s Clinical Hospital in Grozny after Elizaveta Petrovna [Glinka]. [Head of the Alexandrov Ensemble] Valery Mikhailovich [Khalilov] has been posthumously awarded the Chechen Republic’s medal for merit. I am confident that the names of these great people will forever remain in Russia’s history,” Kadyrov wrote on his Instagram page.

He wrote that Elizaveta Glinka had dedicated herself to the most noble of all causes – saving children in places of war and conflict – and will forever remain in people’s memory because of that. He added that the death of the members of the Aleksandrov Ensemble was a tragic loss, as they have inspired Russia’s military to heroic deeds for many years.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has ordered that one of Russia’s military hospitals be named after Elizaveta Glinka, the Defense Ministry’s press service reported on Monday. In the same statement, the Russian military promised to complete the philanthropist’s mission and pass on the aid that she had wanted to personally deliver to the hospital in Latakia, Syria. In fact, the aid has already arrived at the Russian Air Force base in Khmeimim on another flight.

The minister also ordered that the Moscow School of Music be named Valery Khalilov, the press service reported.

The Tu-154 airliner belonging to the Russian Defense Ministry crashed into sea off the coast near Sochi in the early hours of Sunday morning, killing 84 passengers and eight crew members. The passengers included 68 performers from the AleksandrovEnsemble, a famous Russian military orchestra and choir, including its director and conductor Valery Khalilov and nine journalists from three Russian TV channels.

Elizaveta Glinka, often known in Russia by her nickname ‘Doctor Liza’, also died in the crash. Glinka was known as a selfless philanthropist, the founder of the first hospices in Russia and Ukraine, and the head of the NGO ‘Fair Help,’ which provides financial support and medical care to cancer patients, underprivileged families, the homeless, and others in need.

In 2015, Glinka organized the evacuation of many sick children to Russian hospitals from the unrecognized republics in Donbass.

Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented Glinka with the state’s top award for the year for her outstanding achievements in charity and human rights activities. At the ceremony, she promised that she would soon travel to Syria.

Rostislav Ishchenko: ”Next to Last Victim of the International Tribunal”

Rostislav Ishchenko is an astute Ukrainian political analyst, who had to go into exile after the Nazi coup d’etat in 2014 Ukraine. Below, I present hist article on a topic, which I intend to expand upon in the future, and which I touched in the past: the destruction of Yugoslavia bay US/NATO.

Other publications in my blog, related to Yugoslavia, are:

Kosovo is Serbia!

Yes, Kosovo is Serbia in the same way as Provence is France, Schleswig-Holstein is Germany, Malorossia is Russia and Oxfordshire is England.
And before I go on with the translation, let us remember hundreds of thousands of Serbs, who were killed or driven away from their heartland of Kosovo, and are now condemned to witness their beloved land being desecrated and turned into a hub of cocaine dealing, human organ trafficking and Islamic terrorism by the US/NATO.

Rostislav Ishchenko’s original article in Russian is published on the 24th of March 2016 at Cont.WS.

Lack of autonomy and prejudice of the ICTY, which on Thursday sentenced Radovan Karadzic, buried the idea of international justice over war criminals.

On Thursday, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), located in The Hague, has sentenced Radovan Karadzic – the former leader of the Bosnian Serbs, the most high-ranking accused the ICTY after the death of former Yugoslav President, Slobodan Milosevic. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 40 years in prison.

The verdict is obvious

However, the chances that Karadzic would get an indictment were close to absolute.

And not only because without sentencing Karadzic, the validity of the previous convictions of the military leaders of the Bosnian Serbs would be cast under serious doubt. After all, Karadzic was their immediate supervisor, the mastermind and ideologue.

In the end, no one believes the impartiality of the ICTY for quite a long time, and Serbs (not only Bosnian, but also Croatian and Serbian citizens) and Montenegrins are openly called “victims of the tribunal”.

The “guilty” verdict for Karadzic was first and foremost inevitable for the following reason: When he was first arrested and brought to the Hague, he published the details of a secret deal that a UN negotiator for the Bosnian settlement, Richard Holbrooke, concluded on behalf of the USA.

Disclosure of the details of the deal, which the United States failed to comply with, has caused Washington a dual damage.

All potential victims of the American aggression learned that reaching agreements with the United States is meaningless – they will still cheat. This seriously weakened the USA’s ability to solve their problems with the help of secret diplomacy.

No one can say exactly how much Karadzic’s exposure influenced the decision of Gaddafi and Assad to resist until the end, but is definitely contributed to the awareness of the international community of the fact that Washington understands only the language of weapons.

In addition, the Karadzic’s exposure showed that the US diplomats at the UN office use their international status to promote US government interests. And that reduced the possibility for the Department of State to promote its own staff to the posts of United Nations representatives in the important for the US crisis regions.

Of course, the United States continues to work actively at such places, advancing for key positions the diplomats of the friendly countries. But any puppet is not controlled 100%. A puppet has their own government, their own state, and even personal interests. A puppet maybe not be against the Pax Americana, but wishes to take within it a higher position. In general, there are difficulties, which could be avoided in case of direct appointment of the American diplomats to such positions.

Given the not so young age of Karadzic, as well as the fact that some prisoners of ICTY prison (especially those who had the temerity to upset the United States) tend to suddenly leave this world, the 40-year sentence that he received, becomes in fact a sentence for life.

So once this episode’s informational potential connected to the sentencing is used, it is unlikely the MSM will ever again pay attention to this extraordinary politician, whose ups and downs are, however, in the past, in the turbulent 90s of the twentieth century.

The Court Withdraws

But not only Radovan Karadzic leaves the stage of the world political theatre. ICTY also concludes its activities. Karadzic was one of the last four of the accused whose cases remain unfinished.

In 2017, General Ratislav (Ratko) Mladic, who commanded Bosnian Serb army, expects the verdict. Former Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Vojislav Seselj and the former President of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (destroyed by the Croatian army in August 1995), Goran Hadzic were conditionally released on health grounds: both diagnosed with cancer (translator note: because of the extensive depleted Uranium use by the US in their bombing of Yugoslavia?).

Once all the cases are completed and the review of the appeals is finished, ICTY should cease to exist. However, the Tribunal is already too long with us. Originally it was planned that it would complete the work in 2010.

Summing up the ICTY activity, one cannot ignore its obvious bias.

More than half of the accused are Serbs and Montenegrins (92 cases). Meanwhile the tribunal considered a total of 60 cases against Croats, Bosnian Muslims, Macedonians and Kosovo Albanians together.

ICTY acquitted almost all of the Croatian generals accused of war crimes against Serbs and Muslims. It did not give an answer to the question of whose fault it is that in the Serbian Krajina hundreds of Serbs where killed, and hundreds of thousands of Serbs were exiled.

The tribunal is also not interested in the testimony of its own prosecutor, Carla del Ponte, who, in retirement, has released a book in which she argues that the ICTY had information Kosovo Albanians repeatedly extracted and sold organs from live Serbian prisoners. No one was charged on these accounts by the prosecution. ICTY ignored this information.

Today this terminating its activities tribunal has little respect, and people sentenced by them (especially the Serbs) are treated more as victims rather than as criminals.

World public opinion is inclined to regard the ICTY as nothing more, but a US mechanism for reprisal of the politicians, who prevent the advancement of the American interests in the Balkans.

Bad example is contagious

One could simply ignore the fate of the ICTY. Its work is almost over, there are no new accused, while the sentences have been passed on almost all of the old cases. But the fact is: the lack of independence, the injustice, the prejudice of ICTY practically buried the idea of international justice, which, based on a UN mandate, would pursue people who have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity outside of the national jurisdictions.

The jurisdiction of the ICTY extended to the entire territory of the former Yugoslavia, except for Slovenia. However, the Rome Statute was adopted already in 1998, while the International Criminal Court in The Hague began its work in 2002.

The international community made an attempt to move from the practice of establishing tribunals ad hoc, whose work is limited in space and time, to a permanent international court, which does not work under any territorial or time limitations.

By the time of the adoption of the Rome Statute in May 1993, the ICTY had operated for five years. By the time the work of the International Criminal Court started – for nine. Taking ICTY as an example, the international community could just about imagine how and in whose interests would work the International Criminal Court, which was created precisely for the investigation of cases, similar to those considered the ICTY.

The enthusiasm faded pretty quickly. Especially after the United States, which signed the Rome Statute in 2000, not only didn’t ratify it, but withdrew their signature in 2002: President George W. Bush decided that there is no other way for Washington to protect their soldiers from prosecution.

After that, it became clear that the US is ready to use the International Criminal Court, in the same way as they used the ICTY – as a bludgeon against unwanted regimes and politicians. The only difference was that the ICTY could only consider cases involving crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia and only in times of war, caused by the collapse of a single state.

The jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court should, on the other hand, have extended to the whole world and to all the crimes committed after the Rome Statute of the approval. Meanwhile the United States themselves wished to remain outside of the international jurisdiction.

Naturally, after that the process of ratification of the Rome Statute was also stopped in Russia. Our country is still involved in the work of the International Criminal Court, but only as an observer. Its jurisdiction does not extend to the territory of Russia. China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and other countries did not even sign the Rome Statute.

As a result, today the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court extends to the EU, Canada, Latin America, Australia, Japan and half of Africa. The world’s leading countries (USA, Russia, China, India), and with them half of the humanity, are not included in this system. It is clear that in such circumstances the activities of the International Criminal Court (even if it was a model of honesty and impartiality) would have been far from perfect – after all, half of the world is unreachable to its jurisdiction.

In fact, the mechanism of a permanent international prosecution throughout the whole territory of the planet of the persons responsible for crimes against humanity and war crimes, which do not have a statute of time limitation, has not been enacted.

Much of the blame for this lies with the judges and prosecutors of the ICTY, which turned international judicial body in the mechanism of political and legal violence in the interest of the US.

It is clear that in such circumstances, normal countries are extremely wary of international justice, which is able to find a crime where there is none, and do not notice it where it is to be found. Mankind is not yet mature enough for a permanent international court. This means that, as at Nuremberg, war criminals will be judged by the winners of a war.

In other words, as sad as it is, the war becomes a necessary element, preceding creation of any tribunal leading to the triumph of justice. And as before, the winners are not judged.

As an afterword, I want to present translations of some of the reader comments, which fully reflect the general view of the Russian people on this matter:

Nikolai Kireev:
It’s sad about the Serbs. Sad, that we couldn’t help them in their hour of need, as we ourselves were weakened by treachery and desolation. Bu we retain our memory, and that’s important. Our time will come.

Vladimir Maximenko in reply to Nikolai Kireev:
The Serbs, who following Clinton’s and Albright’s initiative were declared by the West as “genociding people”, will yet raise their heads. Karadzic and General Mladic, convicted by the Western pseudo-justice, are honoured by the Serbs. This people are always looking to the support of the Russians, and Russians do not give up.

What Nikolai is referring to in his comment is the fact that Russia was de-facto under foreign – American – rule from the coup d-etat of 1993 and until 2000. For more, read the second part of my post The ”Wild 90s” in Russia, as reflected in people’s memory.

Vladimir Leonov:
What is sad, is that practically all international organisations are drowning in the political machinations, playing only one side of the field. This lead to the increase of chaos in the worlds and further destabilisation.

Mikhai. V.:
Interesting, are there Russian judges in this tribunal?

Andrei Karataev:
Russia is only an observer.

Mikhai. V.:
Then who the hell called it for an “international”?

Vladimir Maximenko:
The whole of the so-called international justice, starting with the ICTY, is nothing more than a system of unjust courts, set to crack down on political opponents of the West. And this machine is running very smoothly.

And a very good conclusion:

Vladimir Maximenko:
Before he headed the resistance of the Serbian people and became the President of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadzic was renowned as a poet. The patriotic Serbs know well his poem “Inferno”:

Have you understood already?
Hell broke through
To our side.
Cerberus roam the streets,
Intercepting our delicate glances.
And there is little point
To be afraid of death
And the eternal darkness:
All that awaits us there,
Has already happened to us here.
Hell broke free,
It is visible to anyone who wants to see.
Cerberus growl at our thoughts.
Do not be afraid, my dear, of the old age,
Nor of the death.
The tomb will become a safe haven for us:
There the saving light will be born.
And our souls will break out of there,
To tame a raging inferno,
That broke through
To our side

And as a post scriptum, since one of the real war criminals – Hillary Clinton – was mentioned in the comments. Her role in enticing the discord leading to the destruction of Yugoslavia and the genocide of Serbs is comparable to that of Victoria Nudelman (aka Nuland) and her hallucinogenic-laced cookies in enticing discord in 2014 Kiev, leading to the destruction of Ukraine and the genocide of Russians in Novorossia and Malorossia. Here is Hillary Clinton, in her element – lying about “dodging sniper fire”:
