There is a saying that those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. An even more forceful version was suggested by Dmitriy and Putinger’s Cat:
“Those who alter history will have their geography altered”
Ukraine is now living this axiom. The Baltics are eager to “find out”. Will Germany follow that path to the end, too?
The next materials are history lessons for assorted Merzes, Macrons, von der Leyens and other fuhrers-wannabe of a united Europe in its new “Drang nach Osten”. This series appeared first at our Telegram channel “Beorn And The Shieldmaiden”.
A meeting with an ancestor
Only five minutes left till death.
Melting ice cracking under Fritz.
And one last time, he sends to Bertha-fiancé
His soldier’s farewell. While in the waters, meeting Fritz,
And banging with his rusty armor,
Teutonic knight is rising from the depth,
Saying: “Soldier, wait!Tell me, my descendant, have
My German kin
Not gotten wiser over seven centuries,
That Russians they engage in battle?The Slavs have beaten me on ice;
And now the Slavs are beating you.
Have you forgotten history?
You now acknowledge history no more?”And Fritz’s voice was hard to hear,
Already going deep under the ice:
“We aren’t allowed to learn from history
By maddened Fuhrer!”

The French are the hungry rats, commandeered by the head woman Vasilisa
In 1812, at the peak of the battles, a remark appeared in the magazine “Son of the Fatherland”:
The head of a village [Gorshkov] in the Sychevsky district [Smolensk region] left to lead a party of prisoners to the city. In his absence, the peasants brought several more Frenchmen, whom they had captured, and gave them to their head woman Vasilisa, to be sent on to where they should go. Vasilisa gathered the peasants, mounted a horse, picked up a scythe and, riding around the prisoners, shouted in an important voice: “Well, the French villains! Line up into the frunt! Go, march!”
One of the captured officers, being annoyed that a woman took it into her head to command them, did not obey her. Vasilisa immediately hit him on the head with a scythe, he fell dead at her feet, and she screamed: “The same is in store for all of you, thieves, dogs, if you just move so much as a bit! I’ve already ripped off the heads of twenty-seven of your mischievous sort! March to the city!”
Vasilisa recruited a team of women armed with scythes and sharpened poles, and drove several captured enemies before her, one of whom was killed by her for disobedience.
In the drawing, Vasilisa is saying in rhyme:
You didn’t get to eat good food in Moscow
That you seem worse for wear and thinner than before
And if you had ventured further to St. Pete
He would have flogged your sides.
While the woman behind the Frenchman on the left is admonishing:
Good people
And welcomed guests
Are met with honour in our parts,
And they are sat at the lead corner.
While the uninvited impudent ones,
Robbers and invaders,
Are chased, with dishonour, away,
And are sent off with a fist.

A Prophetic Dream
This is a fragment from the “Battle Film Colection #1”, shown across the cinemas in the USSR on August 2, 1941.
Hitler is having a dream, a very vivid dream of one, who has not learned the lessons of history. He dreams of the Teutonic knights of 1242, Napoleon of 1812, the German invaders of 1918 (during the so-called “Civil” war) — all those who experienced the power of Russian weapons first-hand.
Backup at Rumble.
Starring: Peter Repnin, Vladimir Kanzel, Mikhail Troyanovsky, Viktor Bubnov.
We told the story of Vasilisa, who captured Napoleon’s troops above.
The opening scene with the globe is a nod to Charlie Chaplin’s 1940 parody film “The Great Dictator”.
Museum of The Broken Ones
Caricature by Kukryniksy from 1952 leads us to the Museum of The Beaten and Broken Ones, an exquisite collection of historic relics of grand conquerors of Russia are on display. The foreseeing curators have left a pedestal open for the next invader.
Plaques on the pedestals read, left to right:
🪧 Teutonic Knights
🪧 Karl VII of Sweden
🪧 Napoleon
🪧 Hitler
🪧 Samurai
🪧 …. [empty pedestal, no plaque yet]
The text is the famous quote attributed to Alexander Nevsky:
«Who comes to us with a sword, will die by the sword.»
🦇 Well, at this point, it’s obvious to everybody outside the western echo chamber that the crumbling delusional war-frenzied US Empire and its NATO underlings are aspiring to the empty pedestal.
That is of no surprise. Faced with an escalating debt-crises in a context of inflation, de-dollarisation and the fall of the petro-dollar, following decades of predatory economic globalisation, benefiting only financial lords in Blackrock and Co with their subservient corrupt hang-arounds, the eroded American production base and MIC-driven economy is about to collapse.
For the panicking Vampire Inc., having had the fangs pulled out of post-soviet Russia and now desperately craving for fresh blood, a resource-plunder of Russia’s size is on top of the menu, as it would infuse relief and prolong the life expectancy of the Imperialist Hydra. And as “project Ukraine” failed to lay Russia’s riches open, the sucking dry of Europe increases, providing a temporary life-support for the empire while next step matures: The full war with Russia, fought with European hands.
The Chain of Historic Continuity
The Soviet animated film “We’ve Beaten, Are Beating, And Shall Be Beating Them” from 1941 shows the historic links between 1242, 1918 and 1941 — driving away the invaders from the West.
Backup at Rumble.
The historic chain of western invaders and their defeats can now be added yet another link named NATO.
And with the same unbreakable certainty will the outcome of this new attempt to conquer and plunder Russia be the same: Victory over the unwelcome “guests”.
The peoples of Russia will prevail!
Elephants Remember: Victory Day
Nikolay Starikov, politician, writer, public figure — especially for «Our Elephants» — on the ideological significance of the victory over a united Europe.
#НашДеньПобеды [Our Victory Day] is a special holiday. Its uniqueness lies not only in the fact that you recall the history of your country, your family, and each time learn something new. The special feature of Victory Day is that it is a holiday of maturity. I can say on my own example. The older I became, the clearer and more obvious to me became the importance and greatness of our Victory Day over a united Europe, which this time was united by fascism.
However, during earlier invasions of the West, they always found a leader, an ideology, or a country that gathered them all under one banner and sent them to try to conquer Russia again, which they called “thieves’, ‘undemocratic’, and so on. Probably, in these words is the bitterness of defeat, which the West always suffered in its attempts to conquer Russia.
So, it would seem that I know history well. I know the history of my family well. I know the history of the Great Patriotic War. But the older I get, the more obvious it becomes to me that our people were brought to the brink of destruction. Today, probably no one doubts anymore the fact that Adolf Hitler and his Nazis were brought to power by the Westerners.
I want to emphasise once again, it’s not about German industrialists, who began to sponsor the NSDAP in the early 30s, but about Western capital, which precisely also brought to power an aggressive Russophobic regime in Berlin, as it does today, albeit on a smaller scale, in Kiev. And it was precisely this time that the Western invasion of Russia was the most ruthless. The Hitlerites came not to liberate, as they said in their propaganda, but to destroy. And to destroy everyone. They had an ideology for this. Yes, in general, and for the current attempt to weaken, destroy Russia, the West will always find an ideology.
Therefore, Victory Day is a process of maturity for each of us, a process of maturity of society, a process of getting to know your family and yourself. And in this lies the endless importance of Victory Day. At the same time, note that those who fought against Russia for Western money always tried to discredit Victory Day itself. They even invented some terms for this. Well, as they say, God be with them. Although, actually, God is with us, and with them — it’s completely different. Happy Great Victory Day!
👉 Make sure to watch documentary film “The Great Unknown War”, which describes in detail the processes that Nikolay Starikov outlined above.
Epilogue: Animated chronological map of the Second World War in Europe
It is clearly seen that the United States did not join the action until the Soviet Red Army entered Germany. How many lies has Hollywood told about the liberation of Europe!

Chronology of history rewriting
This is a short, concise and bitter chronology of how history is being gradually rewritten.
1945: USSR & Stalin were heroes; fascists were murderers.
1961: USSR was a hero, Stalin was not entirely good; fascists were murderers.
1985: USSR was not entirely a hero, Stalin was bad; Nazis were murderers, but there were some decent ones among them.
1991: USSR was not a hero, Stalin was a murderer; Nazis were not bad but there were murderers among them.
2000: USSR was an occupier, Stalin is a murderer; Germans are good and if it weren’t for Stalin, there would have been no murderers among them.
2007: USSR was an occupier and would have lost the war if it hadn’t been for the USA, Stalin was a monster, Germans were just defending themselves.
2020: USSR started the Second World War and built concentration camps, Germans tried to stop it.
But we remember the truth of the great Victory of the Soviet peoples over fascism. Glory to the Red Army; the saviors of humanity! Undying memory!

Against history falsification
History has delivered a just verdict
Her forgers are resolutely rebuffed!
Reactionary forces in the West have launched a rampant smear campaign designed to plant false ideas about the Second World War in the minds of people, especially young people. The results of the last war and its instructive lessons run counter to the adventurist course of imperialism, especially American imperialism, and show that the policy of militarism, aggression, and international robbery is inevitably doomed to failure.
In this 1985 Soviet poster by Boris Yefimov, the assorted rats and ducks crawling out of the book “Falsification WWII History” are spitting and hissing “That didn’t happen!!!” at the Soviet sword that vanquished Hitler.
