On Kiev’s plans to conduct a false flag operation in Romania and Poland

Reading time: < 1 minute

A commentary by Maria Zaharova:

Today, several Hungarian media outlets reported on Zelensky’s plans to carry out sabotage in Romania and Poland with the aim of blaming Russia. Thus, a “Gleiwitz incident” is being prepared in Bankova — with the goal of creating a Casus belli for a war between Russia and NATO.

According to the available information, the Kiev regime’s plan is as follows:

  1. Repair several downed or intercepted Russian UAVs.
  2. Equip them with combat lethal elements.
  3. Send UAVs controlled by Ukrainian specialists disguised as “Russian drones” to major NATO transport hubs in Poland and Romania.
  4. Simultaneously conduct a disinformation campaign in Europe to blame Moscow for everything.
  5. Ignite an armed conflict between the Russian Federation and NATO.

To carry out this provocation, on September 16, Russian “Geran” UAVs were already delivered to the Yavoriv training ground in Western Ukraine, where the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Academy is located. They were previously repaired in Lvov at the “LORTA” factory.

As Hungarian journalists write, the reason for Zelensky’s actions is simple — the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering a crushing defeat. The army’s rout is no longer at the tactical level but is taking on a strategic character.

If all this is confirmed, then we must admit: never in modern times has Europe been so close to the start of World War III.

False flag warning from Russian MoD for Chuguev in Harkov region

From the Telegram channel of MoD Russia.
August 12, 2025.

⚡️According to available information received through several channels, the Kiev regime is preparing a provocation to foil the Russian-American talks scheduled for 15 August 2025.

To this end, on Monday, 11 August 2025, a group of journalists from foreign media under the cover of the legend of ‘preparing of a series of reports on residents of the city in the frontline zone’ has been delivered by the Security Service of Ukraine to the city of Chuguev (Kharkov region).

Immediately ahead of the summit on Friday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine plan a provocative strike using UAVs and missiles against one of the densely populated residential quarters or a hospital with a large number of civilian casualties, which will have to be immediately recorded by the foreign Western journalists.

As a result of the Kiev regime’s provocation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be considered fully responsible for the strikes and civilian casualties. This will create a negative media background and conditions for disrupting Russian-American cooperation on settling the conflict in Ukraine.

There may also be provocations in other settlements controlled by the Kiev regime.

Fresh evidence surfaces in Malaysian MH17 crash that killed 298 people in 2014

Revelations by Oleg Pulatov, who was acquitted of all charges due to lack of evidence, raises new doubts about the Dutch investigation

Pulatov during the court hearing

When the Malaysian Airlines plane was shot down on July 17, 2014, I was in Voronezh, Russia. A week earlier I’d been in Europe and while sitting in my Viennese hotel watched various news channels reporting on the mess that was Donbass. It was personal for me. I’d been in Kiev in January 2014 and seen first-hand the nastier elements looking for reasons to be violent. Living in Voronezh I’d met refugees from Ukraine from April 2014 and by the time schools had started back on September 1, the initial trickle of human misery became a steady river. Yet MH17 terrified me, just the idea of flying and being shot down accidentally did affect my travel plans for a decade. It returned to my life when I was contacted by a man desperate to have his story heard.

Oleg Pulatov knew me as a sports journalist and one who was rather blunt about the scourge of corruption. From uncovering doping scandals to athlete abuse, match-fixing to financial funny business, he liked my work but was no fan of mine. Especially my “attack”, as he put it, on neo-Nazi elements within football fan groups in Ukraine in 2011 and 2012. Something I’d written about and cooperated with the BBC on exposing. The man, with family roots in the Donbass, didn’t take kindly to my blunt take on football hooligans and their nefarious activities, explaining that these were common criminals without ideology. Yet when he reached out last month about a potential story, there was a different vibe. He wanted to meet in person, something that made me wonder – why? And who is the man who’d criticised my writing in the past?

Who is Oleg Pulatov?

Born in Ulyanovsk (Russia), he was educated in Ukraine where his family come from. He was a military man his whole life, seeing combat in a number of theatres and was semi-retired when he objected to Kiev’s bombing of civilians in the Donbass. He joined the breakaway Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) defence force, being elevated from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel. In July 2014 he was Deputy Head of the DPR’s Intelligence Directorate’s Special Operations Department and commanded a group of forces on the Snezhnoye-Marinovka frontline.

Due to his rank and position, he answered for the area where the aircraft came down. He arrived on the scene of the tragedy and immediately set up a ‘sanitary zone’ around the crash site. Oleg was one of four men later charged by a Dutch court with shooting down the airliner and the only one acquitted in November 2022. His voice was silenced in the process, which is not only his point of view.

As one lawyer from Eindhoven told me over the phone: “Given what he had to say, he was acquitted in the hope that he’d shut his mouth.” Oleg wanted to speak at his trial, he went unheard, 11 years after the tragedy, he needed to tell everything.

The first reunification of Donbass and Russia

Reading time: 18 minutes

Without understanding the history of Donbass in the early XX century, it is impossible to understand the civil war that is taking place in Ukraine now. We have raised this topic in a 2016 article “Short History of Creation of Ukraine and Donetsk-Krivorog Republics after the 1917 Revolution in Russia”. However, that article was not as systematic as the one you are about to read now – “The first reunification of Donbass and Russia”. It was published in Regnum on June 17, 2017.

After reading this article, we will have a solid foundation for understanding the topic of forced ukrainisation, which was taking place in 1920s, a topic which we wil return to in a later publication.

The problem of Donbass is not new to Russia. Few people know, but in the early twenties of the last century, Russia and Ukraine were already in a very serious conflict over this region. Moreover, the tensions around that territorial dispute were very high. It almost came to a direct military confrontation. It worked out that time. Russia won then. However, the conflict itself was hushed up for a very long time, for obvious reasons. But as they say, there are never permanently resolved conflicts, especially if these conflicts are linguistic and regional in nature. And perhaps, having read the history of the territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia over the Eastern Donbass, it will be easier to understand the processes taking place now in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

The signing of the Brest Peace by the Ukrainian Central Rada on February 9, 1918, according to which the territory of Ukraine (including Donbass) was to be occupied by German troops can be considered as a kind of a start to that conflict. In response, on February 12, 1918, the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic (DKR) was proclaimed in Harkov at the regional congress of Soviets of Workers’ Deputies, which declared its independence and, accordingly, did not recognise the Brest Peace. The government of the new republic included representatives of the all—Russian left-wing parties, while the DKR was headed by the Bolshevik comrade Artyom (Fyodor Sergeev). After the proclamation of the republic, he sent a telegram to the leader of Soviet Russia, Vladimir Lenin:

“The Regional Congress of Soviets adopted a resolution on the creation of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog basin as part of the All-Russian Federation of Soviets.”

According to the leadership of the new republic, it was created primarily based on the territorial and economic principle and was supposed to include the territories of three basins: coal, iron ore and salt. The coal basin (Donbass), divided in the imperial period of Russian history between several administrative units (Yekaterinoslav and Harkov provinces, as well as the Donskoy Army Region, also known as Don Host Region), according to the republican leadership, was supposed to become a single entity within one administrative unit. Therefore, not only Yekaterinoslav province (on the territory of which the Central or, as it was also called, Old Donbass was located) was included in the DKR, but also, as “comrade Artyom” wrote in a note to the heads of foreign states, describing the eastern borders of the DKR: “The Sea of Azov to Taganrog and the borders of the Soviet coal districts of the Don region along the railway line Rostov — Voronezh to Lihaya station.” And in the future, it is these “coal Soviet districts” that will become a stumbling block in the border dispute between the two Soviet republics.

German troops on the Sophia square in Kiev in April of 1918

However, the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic could not cope with the German offensive, and by the end of May 1918, the Germans had occupied all of Ukraine (including Donbass) and part of the territory of the Donskoy Army Region. The Government of the DKR was forced to evacuate.

After the revolution in Germany, in the autumn of 1918, the Bolsheviks began the liberation of Ukraine from the German occupiers. At the end of January 1919, the Council of People’s Commissars (Sovnarkom) of Ukraine was established in liberated Harkov under the leadership of Christian Rakovsky. The Government of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic has also returned to Harkov. However, the Soviet leadership in Moscow decided that strategically, the existence of Soviet Ukraine is now more important than the existence of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic. Therefore, the Central Committee (CC) of the Bolshevik Party decided to annex the territory of the DKR to the territory of Ukraine (which at that time was understood by the majority of the population of the former Russian Empire as the Middle Dnieper and the Right Bank of the Dnieper). On February 17, 1919, Vladimir Lenin signed a decree: “Ask comrade Stalin, through the Bureau of the Central Committee, to carry out the decommissioning of Krivdonbass”. The leadership of the DKR, dominated by the Bolsheviks, albeit with a heavy heart, but obeyed the decision of the party. In March 1919, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) was proclaimed in Harkov. And since the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic became part of the Ukrainian SSR, the eastern border of the DKR automatically became the eastern border of Soviet Ukraine. To a certain extent, this came as a surprise to many residents of both Taganrog and Eastern Donbass (Alexandro-Hrushevsky (Shakhtinsky) and Yekaterinenskoe-Kamensky districts), who began to write mass appeals to the central authorities, opposing their annexation to the Ukrainian SSR. Because joining the Soviet Donbass was one thing, but joining Ukraine was quite another. After all, at that moment the Soviet Union had not yet been established. The Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) and the Soviet Ukraine were de jure considered independent states, even if they entered into a military and economic alliance with each other.

At the same time, it is necessary to understand what processes were taking place inside Ukraine itself in order to understand why the residents of Eastern Donbass were far from enthusiastic about the prospect of becoming “Ukrainians”.

25.05.2014 – The last day of peace in Donetsk

Reading time: 4 minutes

The remembrance post on Russell ‘Texas’ Bentley’s Telegram channel, written by his widow, Lyudmila Bentley.

May 25, 2014 was the last peaceful day for the residents of Donetsk. The last day when residents and guests of the city walked, strolled quietly along the streets and airplanes flew. On this day it was possible. And tomorrow…

Donetsk residents consider May 26, 2014 as the line behind which the former Ukraine, which we loved, does not exist any more for us. On this day 10 years ago, Ukrainian helicopters and bombers, formally subordinate to the SBU, raided Donetsk International Airport and the suburbs of Donetsk itself. As a result, 40 people were killed and 31 were wounded.

Our city was attacked by Ukrainian warplanes. Su-25s, MiG-29s and Mi-24s shelled Donetsk.

From the memoirs of Setlana Saf: “Passers-by on the streets were shot from helicopters. The way to and from the airport turned out to be the ‘road of death’. For more than a week it was strewn with people killed in their cars, people killed near their cars, people shot in ambulances, people fleeing in the direction of the tree line not far from them… Those who were vacationing with their children near the reservoir of the Avdeyevka coking plant also came under fire from the helicopters. On the square near the railway station – killed… And the airport… It’s gone. Who will be responsible for that?”

“It was HELL! “The ‘non-brothers’ started killing us!!! To this day, at the sound of any flying object, be it a helicopter or an airplane, there is a feeling of fear and a desire to hide, to take cover. And this is despite the fact that I now live in the so-called safe zone… And this state will haunt those who lived through those terrible days for a long time. When will this nightmare finally end…? And who will be responsible for all this?” – Natalia Trofimenko.

“I remember everything like yesterday. Everything in front of my eyes… Airplanes, heat traps, hum, helicopters, horror, tears, misunderstanding, rejection…” – Galina Abramova.

“I remember how the helicopters flew over the schools and kindergartens of Oktyabrsky settlement. I remember the frightened eyes of the children – and not a single Ukrainian news bulletin reported it…” – Irina Chinkina.

“To this day, when I remember that day, I am gripped with fear and shaking, and tears are streaming from my eyes… How I was screaming then! I frightened my granddaughter, she ran after me, and in search of a hiding place I threw myself from side to side, until we hid behind the sofa in the hall… She clung to me trembling body and begged me to protect her. And the helicopters were circling over our house… A neighbor who lived three houses away from us was looking for her son for a long time, and then she couldn’t get him murdered out of the car for a few days … It was pretty hot, and the killed ones were laying on the road, shelled by snipers from all sides, for several days…” – Irina Isayenko.

In those days, I was in my native Petrovsky district. Being quite far from politics, I remember my incomprehensible thoughts: “What is going on? Who are those people? Why are the airplanes bombing us?”

Russell told me, he was at home in the U.S. at the time, closely following what was going on the Internet, and his heart was bleeding because he had known since Maidan that his government was behind it all. He knew and was tormented that he had to do something about it, not just watch. He will make the final decision to go to Donbass to protect civilians on June 2, 2014 after the Ukrainian Air Force air strike on the peaceful administration of Lugansk.

Regarding the coming march of the Ukrainian Neo-Nazis in London on May 8

Reading time: 3 minutes

Russia’s MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s comment at the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

According to a report by Sky News, the neo-Nazis of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will participate in the VE Day procession in London on May 8.

The country has not seen anything like this for nearly 90 years since the infamous Cable Street march, when Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists was granted official permission to march through London’s East End in October 1936 – an event widely regarded as a shameful chapter in British history.

At that time, many showed support for the British Fascists in London. There were still nearly two years left until the 1938 Munich Agreement – the example of Britain’s appeasing Hitler. England still demonstrated conscience and dignity as anti-fascist activists and some concerned police officers managed to disrupt the far-right and anti-Semite procession in the city.
But this time, London will actually see them march.

Surprisingly, the British authorities’ rationale behind the decision is the Kiev regime’s confrontation with Russia, which is cited directly by Sky News.

This evokes disturbing historical parallels of Great Britain’s notorious insidiousness.

For instance, Winston Churchill, who took part in the Yalta and Potsdam conferences along with the other Big Three leaders, publicly affirmed the alliance with the USSR while addressing Soviet people and Generalissimo Joseph Stalin, and praised the Red Army’s sacrifices. However – as we all know it now – behind closed doors, he authorised the drafting of Operation Unthinkable, a secret plan for a potential Allied invasion of the Soviet Union.

These plans (Operation ‘Unthinkable’) remained classified for half a century until they were finally released by the British General Staff in 1988. Apparently, MI5 and MI6 thought that the Soviet Union, which was on the verge of collapse at the time, would have its historical memory buried, and the publication of these materials would no longer compromise London.

The repeat of Ukrainian-German incursion into Kursk

Reading time: 3 minutes

With Kursk newly liberated, it is fitting to take a look at the past Ukro-“future-NATO” incursions into Kursk. From our August 2024 post at “Beorn And The Shieldmaiden”.

Kursk region has become a historical singularity point. One might draw a parallel to the Battle of Kursk in 1943, when thinking of the present-day Western-backed incursion into Kursk. But there is an even earlier precedent, with an eerie similarity to today’s events.

♦️♦️♦️

The dissolvement of the Russian Empire resulted in appearance of a number of states, proxy-states and lawless areas on its outskirts, which the foreign «interventionists» sought to use as springboards for further partitioning of Russia.

Baltics almost immediately fell under German control. Further south there appeared a Ukrainian People’s Republic (UPR), which initially manifested the aspirations of the Ukrainian nationalists (Petlyura was one of its leaders), but later came under German control. Here is a fragment from the Big Russian Encyclopedia.

The UKRAINIAN PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC (UPR), in 1917-20 (with a pause) a state entity, autonomous within the RSFSR, since 2.1.1918 independent. Proclaimed 20.11.1917 on the territory of Kiev, Podolsk, Volyn, Chernigov, Poltava, Harkov, Yekaterinoslav, Herson and Taurida (northern counties, without Crimea) provinces. The center is in Kiev.

The UPR was liquidated as a result of a coup organized by P. P. Skoropadsky on 29.4.1918 with the help of Germany. The command, Central Rada and the government were dissolved, the Ukrainian state was proclaimed instead of the UPR.

The UPR was restored on 14.12.1918 by the Ukrainian Directory, which became the highest authority of the republic.

With the beginning of the Soviet-Polish war of 1920, the UPR concluded a military agreement on the union with Poland on 21.4.1920.

It ceased to exist after the end of the war and the signing of the Riga Peace Treaty of 1921 between the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR, on the one hand, and Poland on the other. The government of the UPR (presided by A. N. Livitsky) fled to Poland.

If one looks at the attached map, one will notice how UPR lay claim on a much larger territory than it actually controlled – it desired the territory of the Donetsk-Krivorozhie People’s Republic.

However, they did not lay claim to the Kursk region. Nevertheless, a few days before Germany conducted a coup in UPR, a joint incursion into Kursk area was made, as can be read in the telegram, preserved In the «Documents of the Foreign Policy of the USSR», volume 1, 7th of November 1917 – 31st of December 1918, page 224:

April 3, 1918.

A message has just been received that Ukrainian-German troops have entered the Kursk province. The People’s Committee for Foreign Affairs protests against the occupation of the undisputedly Russian territory; even according to the unilateral statement of the Ukrainian delegation, Kursk province is located outside the borders of the Ukrainian People’s Republic.

USSR 1922

USSR in 1922

In this case, there’s only one possible lawful scenario, which is legally correct and just. The founding republics that formed the USSR in 1922, after the annulment of that 1922 agreement, should return into the borders they had at the time of entering the USSR. Anything else, all other “territorial gains”, so to speak, are matter for discussion, negotiation and decision-making, because the foundation has been annulled.

As to the Black Sea fleet’s fate, I don’t want to talk about, say, territorial claims, fate of the Crimea, but there is a good number of precedents when naval bases belonging to one country were located in the territories of another one. Even if we suppose such absurdity that Crimea is a territory of Ukraine, Sevastopol has never been the naval base of Ukrainian Navy. It has always been a Russian Naval base. And this is a situation that cannot change under the influence of some momentary circumstances. It is impossible to change in one day that which has come together over centuries, even if it was decided by the representatives of the communist establishment along with nationalists.

The actions of Ukraine in relation to, let’s say, the Soviet army and navy pose a colossal threat to humanity as a whole. I am opposed to solving any territorial conflicts by force. There should be negotiations, but time must not be lost. Ukraine must not be allowed to create an army, which, if it does create, it will certainly use. I don’t doubt that for a minute. And I think that today we are placing a mine not only under our future, but also under the future of all mankind.

This is a cut from an hour-long video of Sobchak answering journalists’ questions (in Russian):

Eurofascism, like 80 years ago, is a common enemy of Moscow and Washington

Reading time: 6 minutes

The Press Bureau of the External Intelligence Service (SVR) of Russia published an insightful analytical article, drawing on many historical parallels. One thing that they have not explicitly stated, though, is that the USA is once again, just like in 1944, inserting itself as a solution to the problem they contributed to create in the first place – we shall not forget Nuland’s cookies of 2014!

The article is opened by a caricature, which is a modern variation of the well-known War-time “TASS Window” (see our article The “TASS Windows” – the windows to our struggle in the Great Patriotic War), which appeared after the… allies deigned to open the second front.

The Hour Draws Near
The merciless, fearsome punishment
Shall not escape the German squid
The monster can expect the blows
Coming from here and there.

Eurofascism is Moscow’s and Washington’s common enemy, just like 80 years ago

– The Press Bureau of the SVR of Russia, April 16, 2025

A hind-sight study of Western states’ policies attests to Europe’s “traditional propensity” for various forms of totalitarianism which regularly produces cataclysmic global conflicts. Specialists believe that the current rift in relations between the United States and the EU countries who blame Donald Trump for totalitarianism in the context of the upcoming 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is becoming a factor that contributes to an alliance of convenience between Moscow and Washington the way it used to occur in the past.

This is confirmed, in particular, by a scandal involving French European Parliament member Raphael Glucksmann who demanded that the Americans “who have chosen to side with the tyrants,” return the statue of Liberty, Paris’s gift to the United States. Raphael Glucksmann, one of the globalists and a dedicated supporter of the Kiev regime, criticises the Oval Office master for slacking support for Ukraine and firing civil servants who stick to liberal views. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed the “daring Gaul” having reminded that “unnamed low-level French politician” that it’s only because of the United States of America that he is speaking French and not German now.

It was pointed out that the multiple dictatorial regimes that were in power in France “distinguished” themselves by unparalleled cruelty and atrocities. Among those mentioned are the Jacobin dictatorship that killed thousands of French citizens in 1793-1794 and imprisoned 300,000 on suspicion of “counterrevolution,” as well as Napoleon’s bloody acts. It was stressed that America is free thanks to their ancestors’ readiness to counter such dictatorships as the British monarchy or the Jacobin revolution.

Experts believe that the notion of Eurofascism was introduced by French author and columnist Pierre Drieu La Rochelle who collaborated with German occupational authorities during WWII, and justified it as an ideology inherent not only in Germans but also other “societies” in Europe. In this context we can recall the French volunteer SS-Division Charlemagne which was named after Emperor of the Carolingian Empire, “Europe’s unifier.” The division’s soldiers were defending the Reichstag from the assaulting Red Army till the last hours of the German Nazi regime. Twelve of those fanatics were captured by the Americans and handed over to French General Phillipe Leclerc. As early as May 8, 1945, he ordered to shoot those war criminals without unnecessary judicial procrastination.

Debunking fake news: The Russian Armed Forces deliberately hit the civilian population of the city of Sumy with Iskander missiles.

Reading time: 8 minutes

The way the Western politicians like Ursula van der Lying spun the events in Sumy requires a record-keeping article. It is namely not dissimilar to the false flags of the Kramatorsk bombing and the Mariupol Drama Theatre bombing, only this time the Western modern Goebbelses took the unfortunate turn of events and exaggerated it, spun it, adding a large dose of projection. For if the US-EU-NATO leaders are to start talking about attacks on civilian population, they first must take a hard long look in the mirror. Both for the 11 years of the genocide of the Donbass population, happening with the US-EU-NATO approval and financing, for the bombing of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Lybia, Vietnam…. the list of where the West targeted the civilians first is very, very long!

Here, we publish several materials from Telegram channels.

Statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Yesterday, the Russian Armed Forces launched two Iskander-M operational-tactical missiles in conditions of heavy electronic warfare countermeasures and foreign-made air defence systems in action to hit the site in Sumy where commanding officers of the Seversk task force had a meeting. More than 60 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been eliminated.

▪️ The Kiev regime continues to use the Ukrainian population as a human shield by deploying military facilities and carrying out activities involving servicemen in the centre of the densely populated city.

War On Fakes reports:

The fact: The strike with two high-precision Iskander-M missiles was carried out on the congress center of Sumy University, where the awarding of the Ukrainian soldiers and officers took place. The Electronic Warfare equipment installed there was able to deflect one of the missiles. The second missile hit the target exactly. Thus the Ukrainian army once again put its own civilian population at risk. Human shield tactics have been used by the Ukrainian armed forces since the beginning of the conflict.

The presence of the military on the territory of the congress center is also proved by the vehicles caught on the Ukrainian media’s footage. For example, they show several army pickup trucks, including those with a tactical sign (triangle). The Ukrainian military units exactly with such tactical signs invaded the Kursk region in August 2024. The concentration of vehicles of this type is uncharacteristic for urban conditions. Also on the video in the first minutes after the explosion hit the Ukrainian military.

The fact of the ceremony of awarding the military was confirmed by a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Maryana Bezuglaya:

“Appeal to Syrsky and separately to the commander of the TRO: do not gather the military for the awarding, and especially in civilian cities – again, the Russians had information about the accumulation. And on the ranges are still building up…”.

This information was confirmed by the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Konotop Artem Semenikhin, as well as the former deputy commander of the terrorist battalion Azov – Igor Mosiychuk.

Ukrainian propaganda led by Zelenskyy is trying to use the incident to demonize Russia and attempt to disrupt negotiations between Moscow and Washington.

April 14 is the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Ukrainian Aggression

Reading time: 3 minutes

Read also: How the undeclared war in Ukraine started and flamed up in April of 2014.

From the Telegram channel of the Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia, translated by “Beorn And The Shieldmaiden”:

In 2014, the Ukrainian authorities decided to launch the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” in Donbas. In fact, their goal was to destroy civilians who did not recognize the Kiev authorities and decided to determine their own fate. All these years, residential buildings, schools, hospitals and other civilian facilities in Donbass have been systematically shelled by the armed formations of Ukraine from artillery and multiple rocket launchers.

For 11 years, Donbass has been the target of brutal and cynical attacks by the Kiev regime, funded by NATO countries that supply military aid to the Ukrainian side, and mercenaries. All these years, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has been recording crimes committed by Ukrainian armed groups.

More than 6.5 thousand criminal cases have been initiated, including crimes against the peace and security of mankind, personality and property.

Investigators and criminologists of the Investigative Committee of Russia, including in the conditions of military operations, carry out tremendous work: the testimony of thousands of victims and witnesses is recorded, objects that have been bombed are examined, and other evidence of criminal acts of the AFU is collected and procedurally secured.

The investigation of more than four hundred criminal cases has already been completed, in which over 560 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries have been brought to justice. More than 500 criminals have already been convicted, 62 of them have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The materials of thousands of criminal cases documenting these tragic events are needed not only to bring the perpetrators to justice, but also for history, so that future generations would remember what the residents of Donbass went through defending their land.

Employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia on an ongoing basis provide humanitarian assistance to local residents and participants of their activities, and take part in resolving legal issues. Departmental educational institutions have been established and operate in the region, including orphans and children left without the care of close relatives.

From DonbassNews Telegram channel, with more photographic testimonies to #NoGenocideInDonbass:

🥀Today is the Memorial Day of the Victims of the Ukrainian Aggression

Residents of Donbass have been held at gunpoint by the Nazis for 11 years. The Kiev regime, following the orders of NATO’s “mentors,” continues terrorist attacks and conducts an information war without hesitation in choosing its means.

⚖️Today, more than 6.5 thousand criminal cases have been initiated against the Ukrainian Nazis. More than 500 criminals have been convicted, 62 of them will spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Not a single victim of the Kiev regime will be forgotten. Not a single criminal will escape punishment

A small linguistic/phonetic aside. The name “Khmelnitsky” is pronounced “Hmelnitsky” (with “h” sounding as in the word “home”); and “Hetmanate” is pronounced “Getmanate” (with “g” sounding as in the word “get”).

On April 6, 1654, Sovereign, Tsar and Grand Prince of all Russia Alexey I Romanov, “The sole ruler of all Russia Great and Little”, granted his royal charter to Hetman of the Zaporozhian Host Bogdan Khmelnitsky. The document secured the reunification of the Left Bank of the Dnieper with Russia.

In the late XVI and the early XVII century, all groups of the Orthodox population in the lands of Ancient Rus, controlled by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, were subject to an increased religious and ethnic pressure from the Polish-Lithuanian gentry, which sought to fully assimilate local residents through a policy of Polonisation and Latinisation.

After the Union of Brest was adopted in 1596, a majority of Orthodox priests became subordinate to the Pope. Those who remained faithful to Orthodoxy became outcasts and were deprived of hierarchical leadership, since Metropolitan of Kiev Mikhail Rogoza had also joined the Greek Catholics.

Amid forced Catholicisation, the loss of noble titles and lands, and ongoing persecution, the local Orthodox population began searching for ways to escape oppression. All attempts to come to an agreement with the Polish king failed as the Polish gentry firmly refused to acknowledge the autonomy of the Orthodox Cossacks and nobility.

✊ In 1648, a major liberation movement was sparked, led by the renowned military and political leader Bogdan Khmelnitsky. The Cossacks rebelled against the Polish oppressors to defend their faith, identity, and the right to self-determination.

Recognising the need for a stronger alliance, Khmelnitsky made several appeals to Tsar Alexey I of Russia, requesting protection and support, and asking him to take the lands of the Hetmanate under “his royal hand”. In 1653, Hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky approached Tsar Alexey I, asking him to accept “all of Little Russia (Malorossiya) and the entire Zaporozhian Host into his eternal possession, allegiance, and protection” Later that year, in May, the Zemsky Sobor convened in Moscow, where an unequivocal decision was adopted in favour of the integration of Malorossiya into the Russian state.

On January 18, 1654, Pereyaslav Rada made a historic decision — the Zaporozhian Cossacks declared their allegiance to the Russian Tsar. On April 6, Tsar Alexey I of Russia signed the royal charter, which mentioned the Russian monarch’s title “the sole ruler of all Russia Great and Little” for the first time, emphasising the historical continuity of a unified state.

❗️ The Pereyaslav Agreement reflected a natural historical process of returning the ancient Russian lands to the unified Russian state and reuniting parts of a single nation, divided by civil strife and the Golden Horde yoke.

On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians

– Article by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, July 12, 2021

During the recent Direct Line, when I was asked about Russian-Ukrainian relations, I said that Russians and Ukrainians were one people – a single whole. These words were not driven by some short-term considerations or prompted by the current political context. It is what I have said on numerous occasions and what I firmly believe. I therefore feel it necessary to explain my position in detail and share my assessments of today’s situation.

3 Years of the Bucha False Flag

Reading time: 6 minutes

Today marks the third anniversary of the Ukrainian staged false flag in Bucha.

We have covered the events on the pages of this blog, right from the start, when the trail was still warm:

The staged Bucha “massacre”, White Helmets style

Still from a film of Bucha “mop-up” by the AFU – no bodies are yet visible!

From the briefing by Maria Zaharova on the event of the 3-year anniversary of the Bucha false flag:

These days, three years have passed since the monstrous provocation organised by the neo–Nazi Zelensky regime and its masters in order to accuse Russia of “war crimes” against civilians located in the suburbs of the Ukrainian capital, settlement Bucha.

For three years, no one has handed over to Russia the list of “victims of Bucha”, although we have repeatedly sent to various international authorities requests for the identification of persons whose bodies were shown to the whole world… However, they still remain unanswered.

Let’s consider the inconsistencies of this monstrous staging.

How did “the bodies of people killed in the last days of February and the first days of March” allegedly lie untouched on Yablonskaya Street until the beginning of April?

Let me remind you that Bucha was partially occupied by the Russian army at the end of February 2022, and some areas came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces in early March. All the so-called “video evidence” transmitted by Western agencies dates back to April.

At the same time, it is clear that there are no signs of decomposition on the bodies: there is no evidence of rotting or damage to the bodies, including by animals. In such a state, the bodies simply could not lie on the streets in the mild spring of 2022.

When, by whom, and where were the murders of the “Bucha victims” actually committed?

Modern means of criminology and forensic medical examination make it possible to determine the moment of death of a person with a high degree of accuracy based on indirect signs. Moreover, it is possible to establish the place of the murder based on the so-called criminological artifacts: remnants of substances under the nails, the nature of worn clothing, and molecular traces.

There is no information in the public space about where and when the people posing as “victims of Bucha” were killed. It is alleged without foundation that they were “shot by the Russian military.”

Why did 2 to 3 days pass between the reports of the withdrawal of Russian troops from Bucha and the first “evidence” that appeared?

“Bussification”, or the snatching of people off the streets in Ukraine

Reading time: 5 minutes

Initially published on March 7, 2025; extended on March 21, 2025.

“Forced mobilisation” in Ukraine will go down in textbooks as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
— Russian FM spokeswoman Maria Zaharova

🙈 Suddenly the West started seeing

From our Telegram channel “Beorn And The Shieldnmaiden”.

The term “Bussification” is a neologism that appeared 1.5 years ago in Ukraine to denote the forced “conscription”, when people are grabbed off the streets, pushed into busses, and are driven off to the front. It became the Ukrainian word of the year in 2024.

1.5 years after the start of mass bussification*, videos where the Ukrainians are snatched and sent for meat began to enjoy great popularity among the Americans, who suddenly began to show them on mainstream channels, although just a few years ago this topic was actually tabooed and labeled as “Russian propaganda”.

Now, the barriers have fallen and the stream of videos with the cannibals has flooded into American social networks.

From the point of view of information warfare, it is important to pump up American social networks in the coming weeks with such videos, and you don’t even need to invent anything here — such content is pouring out of Ukraine every day with dozens of videos per day.

To the brave Ukrainians who, despite the prohibitions and threats, are filming all this — your efforts were not in vain, you are beginning to be heard in the West. Shoot more, show more, fight against the snatchers — the chances of being heard are increasing now.

👉 One such channel with a lot of videos of the snatchers at work is called just that: Bussification.

‼️ We have created a “short” video, running at “just” 1 hour and 30 minutes, comprised of a little over 100 episodes of bussification. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We are sure that if used all video clips that can be found on various Ukrainian telegram channels, there would be enough material for over 24 hours of this. And even that would be just a small fraction of totality, as not all episodes get recorded on camera – in fear of reprisals.

Nothing changes in Fascism!

In 1943, after the defeat at Stalingrad, propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels cried for “Total War” and “Total Mobilisation”.

Here, Adolf Hitler is “vacuuming” the streets of Germany in search of fresh soldiers, as so aptly depicted by the Soviet artist Boris Yefimov.

The non-elected puppet Führer of Ukraine, Volodomyr Zelensky, is now doing the same thing 80 years later to provide fresh cannon fodder for his western masters.

False flag alert: Another provocation by the Kiev regime is being planned in Sumy Region

Reading time: 2 minutes

Our sources in the Sumy underground report that a film crew from one of the major Ukrainian state channels arrived in the city of Putyvl.

According to these sources, the Ukrainian government brought preschool children to the city for the purpose of implementing their plans. The goal of their visit was to create a video allegedly showing the consequences of an attack by the Russian Armed Forces on a kindergarten. This video is intended to show that the Russian army is allegedly deliberately striking civilians and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.

For the filming, they chose a destroyed building of the former “Ukraine” bank, owned by a Ukrainian citizen and supporter of the Kiev regime, Sukachev Oleksandr Oleksandrovych, where restoration work was underway.

The coordinates of this place are: 51.334960, 33.871440. Until recently, AFU units were stationed in the building.

✨Thus, these actions are aimed at creating a false impression and misleading the international community about the goals and actions of the Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.

We have already seen similar actions by the Kiev regime, when in the city of Bucha staged video footage was crudely fabricated.
