UPDATED: Russian Calendar Shows Year 7527, or How Russian History Was Shortened by Peter I

The article you are about to read appears in Russian on The Svarog Day site (Update: the site went off-line in 2021, so the link is update to point to the WebArchive). Before embarking on it, a short contextual and linguistic introduction is needed.

I have been meaning to translate this article for some time, but as with a few other articles that will be coming out around this time, it did not feel like the time was ripe. It is Lada Ray’s forbidden history & forgotten origins webinar series that are now playing as a certain catalyst. Lada addresses this topic and the historical background behind this transition of the calendar in great detail in her webinar. She also addresses the aspects of a supposed impostor that replaced Peter I, which the article below alludes to. She presents arguments that there was no impostor, but that Peter was swayed in his views by his Western advisors during his travels to the West. Later I plan to do a translation of a film that dives into this topic, but for now, back to the topic of the Calendar.

Another note is the word “calendar”, which in old Russian was “kolo dar”, meaning “the gift of the sun-circle”. Lada Ray wrote an extensive article on this topic in 2015: Why Russians celebrate the New Year, and not Christmas, with New Year’s Tree? The Origin of ‘Calendar’ and Christmas/New Year’s Forbidden History. The article to some degree intersects with what I am about to translate, and it also greatly expands on the meaning of the word “calendar”.

The word “year” in modern Russian is written as “god” (год), and the reason for it will become apparent from the article. However, Russian originally used the word “leto” (лето) to denote “year”. In modern Russian the word “leto” means “summer”, but its original meaning is still preserved in different contexts and words, such as “letopis” (летопись, literally: “year writing”), meaning “chronicles”. “Leto” is also used to denote the age or timespan starting from 5 (it seems the reforms of which the article will talk, were only successfully enforced on short intervals), so you’d say “1 god” (1 year), but “5 let” (5 years).

In my translation I will use “year” for both, but will mark the word with either (god) or (leto) in parenthesis, where the context requires it.

We now have year (leto) 7527 on the Calendar of Rus. It started on September 22, 2018 using the Christian calculus.

Few know that the modern “year-counting” (god) was introduced to Russia only recently – in 1700.

It was done by Peter I, or rather the one, whom we are accustomed to call Peter. It was by the decree of Peter in the year (leto) of 7208, by the then current year-counting (leto), that Russia cancelled its native calendar and moved to the current year-counting (god), starting from 1700.

What is known about it?

Any year-counting starts from a reference point of some SIGNIFICANT EVENT. For example, presently year 2018 (god and in English God) starts from the birth of Christ. Naturally, also our calendar which was abolished by Peter, had a reference point.

The countdown began from the year (leto) named “STAR TEMPLE”, during which our ancestors won a Great Victory over Arimia, the land of the Dragon (present-day China), finishing a long and bloody war, that is – CREATED PEACE. It is obvious that the event was so important and significant that for 7208 years and up to the reign of Peter I, Russia lived under the sign of the calendar beginning its countdown from the CREATION of PEACE in the YEAR (leto) of the STAR TEMPLE, which, at the time of this publication, is year (leto) 7526.

It became possible to diminish this point of reference, make it abstract, and then strike it out of human memory and the official “history”, due to the substitution of the symbolism in the word WORLD/PEACE (МИР – mir). (Translator note: I earlier wrote an article, touching upon the dual meaning of the word “mir”: Russian Means Peace). Each of us knows that the Russian language has many homonym words, having the same spelling, but different in meaning. Our linguistics stubbornly ignores the explanation of such strangeness – the origin of the twin words having different concepts. In fact, the secret is simple. In our original alphabet – Bukvitsa (image to the right) – we had in all 49 letters. Among those letters that became victims of the “reduction“, and are now missing from the azbuka (alphabet), was the letter ‘i’. The pronunciation of the letters “и” and i” was almost the same, but the symbolism of the letters was different. So the letter “и” had (and still has!) the image of UNION, of ONENESS, of CONNECTION. While the letter “i” with the dot had an image of the “divine, universal beam”, descending from the depths of the Universe unto the people. Accordingly, the word written as “мир” (mir) meant the union, an agreement, a STATE WITHOUT WAR. And the word written as “мiр” (mir) had the symbolism of the universal world, the UNIVERSE. We know the popular in Soviet times slogan which include both words with the different meanings: “Миру – мир!” or “Peas to the world”, that is to the universal World (“мiр”) a state of Union (“мир”) without war.

After the illegal seizure of power in Russia by Pro-Western Romanov dynasty, there began a smooth but systematic destruction of our past. Including the chronology. At first, the letter “и” in the word PEACE (“мир”) was replaced by the letter “i”, and “creation of peace” gradually became associated with the creation of the Universe, not with the establishment of peace after the war.

In parallel, the image of the defeat of a Dragon by an Aryan Vitjas (knight) – the Dragon being the symbol of China-Arimija – was replaced in the frescoes and engravings by an abstract Serpent, and the Aryan Vitjas, which in Russia was known as Yuri, was given the name George (which in Greek means farmer). Should it be reminded that a farmer who tills (in old-Russian “orajet” or “arajet”) the land is the Aryan? However, St. George remained the patron Saint of tillers in most of the modern cultures.

This substitution of the three important components of the image of the great Victory – the word “мир” PEACE with the word “мiр” the Universe, the DRAGON (China) with an anonymous Serpent, and the name of The Russian knight with the Greek George – gradually turned a significant event in the reference of our chronology into an abstraction, a “fantasy”, deprived of any value in the human memory. This is what ultimately allowed Peter in the year of 7208 to painlessly and without any resistance replace our ancient calendar with the European one.

What is actually celebrated on January the 1st?

Everyone knows that on the 24th of December, that is 8 days before January the 1s, the whole Catholic world celebrates Christmas, the birth of the baby Jesus.

According to the Jewish ritual, a Jewish boy should be circumcised strictly on the 8th day of birth. It is at this moment that he becomes attached to the contract between the Jews and God Yahweh (Jehovah) and joins the ranks of the “God-chosen people”. This means that the biblical character born on December 24 – the Jewish boy Jesus – is circumcised on the 8th day of birth, i.e. on January the 1st.

During Peter I time, the nobility mainly communicated in Dutch and German, and the word “god” (год), and in these languages means “God” (as in Lord). It turns out that Peter I forced everyone to congratulate each other with the circumcision of the new Jewish God.

This joke of the “reformer”-tzar became so entrenched in Russia, that now, without giving it much thought, people congratulate each other with the circumcision of an unknown Jewish boy, while setting at home the fir tree – a tree, which since ancient times symbolized the journey to the afterlife.

Today only the old-believers and some Internet users, who are interested in the real Great Past of Rus-Russia, know about the celebration of the true New Year (leto).

However, the overwhelming mass of people who have lost their genetic memory and the original meaning of this term, continue to congratulate each other with the New Circumcised Year (God), but not with the New Year (leto), as it should be in Rus.

5508 years of the worthy Past of the Belorussian, Russian and Ukrainian peoples dissolved in the new Peter’s History, in which we were given the last place among all the peoples of the world.

Obviously, there are many parties, not interested in letting people in Russia know about their native calendar. Through the celebration of the New God’s circumcision of the imposed upon us Lord, it is attempted to circumcise our memory and conscience, so that we become like the proverbial “Ivans, who do not remember their kinship”. The enemy has always acted not only with weapons, but also with the words, substitution of concepts, replacement of symbols and images, and thus their destruction, trying to chop off our memory, our connection with our ancestors, and our past. Just like as Peter Stolypin said “A People who do not have a national identity, are nothing but manure on which other Peoples may grow”. What else does a parasite need to reproduce?

This concluded the translation of the article.

And now, if you have not done so already, I’d recommend Why Russians celebrate the New Year, and not Christmas, with New Year’s Tree? The Origin of ‘Calendar’ and Christmas/New Year’s Forbidden History as further reading.

  1. Pingback: It’s Actually the Year 7526, or How Russia and the World Were Robbed of True History | Futurist Trendcast

  2. Thank you, I had not read this before.
Much history which should never be deleted….

  3. The implications of a thousand years of missing history discussed in the Forbidden History series was startling. But, the historical implications of a 7526 year calendar are huge in comparison.

Certainly one of the most important subjects for study. I can see in the abstract outlines given here why Lada is taking us in this direction for the implications of World Peace are astonishing.

  4. The implications are, indeed, staggering. Russian calendar was most probably, the last echo of the bygone times to be altered, with similar alterations happening in the Westernmost part of Asia – Europe – too. China still holds on to the original calendar, but its history succumbed to alteration in many other ways.
As with any starting point for a calendar, even the peace treaty was not the first reference point to be used in our common calendar system, and there are indications that there were other points before that. But that is a different topic.

  5. Thank you for your interesting article! Please can you advise how to convert the current date (of Sep 30 2018) in a date of the Slavic calendar? (I guess it whould be some days of 7526 or 7527). Couldn’t you please advise a date converter? (Google doesn’t find any.) Thank you.

  6. Everything is true to the extent that it is a Bulgarian calendar recognized by UNESCO -1976. Peter I commanded all tribes in Russia to speak and write in Bulgarian Church language. The Russian alphabet was written by Kliment Ohridski on the order of the Bulgarian Tsar Simeon I .

  7. The history of Bolgaria has itself been quite altered. The name of the country is a talking one – Volgarí, or the people of the Volga river (people living along the shores of Volga are still calling themselves Volgarí) which points to the origin of the people of Bolgaria. Bolgarians and Russian (as well as Serbians and Rusins) spoke and wrote in virtually the same way (save for some dialectal differences) up until language reforms in Bolgaria and in Serbia at the beginning of the 1800s.
As for the Russian Azbuka (alphabet), the modern Kirillitsa was an alternation of an older writing stile – Bukvitsa and Glagolitsa, which held more letters and more meaning. Kirillitsa, in fact, partially destroyed the message encoded in Azbuka.
