It was clear already in 2014 that the Maidan massacre was a false flag
As a follow-up to the Grayzone publication about the Ukrainian trial that demonstrates 2014 Maidan massacre was false flag, and a comment from our subscriber, pointing to this fact being known in Germany, we have found in our archives a German newsreel that was aired on the First German TV channel sometime between mid-March and mid-April of 2014, and translated it to English.
The newsreel is interesting for several reasons.
It comes from the time, when the investigative journalism in Europe was not yet dead, and the journalists could challenge the official line, unlike what is happening now, when the German journalist Alina Lipp is persecuted in Germany for reporting from Donbass.
The trees mentioned in the reportage were a few week later cut down by the Kiev coup regime to hide precisely the evidence that these reporters showed.
Pay attention to the background in the scene with the lawyer representing the victims – you will notice the red-and-black Banderite flag on his table.
And there is a tangible parallel to the unidentified snipers who shot at people during the October 1993 Yeltsin’s coup in Russia.
After the reportage from Kiev, there is a fragment about Turkey and the “civil war” in Syria. There is still a year ahead, before Russia will be forced to respond to this threat, on the request from the Syrian government. We left the episode in for its historical importance, and especially one phrase, spoken by the news anchor: “Until now, NATO has maintained that it is not interested in a military confrontation with Russia.”
This video appears on our Telegram channel Beorn and The Shieldmaiden.
Below is the transcript of the newsreel
The crisis in Ukraine is far from over.
This was revealed to us by the events of this week in the east of the country.
The propaganda battle continues,
meanwhile, one of the key questions is: “Who is responsible for the bloodshed
in February (2014), when dozens of demonstrators and policemen were killed
and which in turn caused the removal of President Yanukovych?”
Who were the killer-shooters on Kiev’s Maidan?
The Western-backed interim government decided already last week
that President Yanukovych and his special forces were solely
responsible for the dead.
But this version of what happened is highly questionable, as shown by the investigation of
Philip Yan, Olga Sviridenko and Stefan Stuhlik.
So, what did happen on the 20th of February 2014 in Kiev?
The atmosphere is tense.
The initially peaceful demonstration has turned into a civil war.
Some of the demonstrators have armed themselves and are moving towards the government building.
In separate groups, demonstrators are trying to get to Institutskaya Street.
“The Bloody Thursday”!
The demonstrators are shot one by one from the surrounding buildings.
But who were these snipers, shooting at the demonstrators?
This question still torments the residents of Kiev.
They still come by the hundreds to the place of the massacre.
We arrived at this place six weeks later.
It became obvious that even the collection of evidence was not finished yet.
Sergey is a weapons specialist, one of many independent investigators who
work closely with the prosecutor’s office and try to support the investigation.
In our presence, he is still collecting spent shell casings
and passing the information to the state investigators
who claimed that they had thoroughly examined the scene of the incident.
Amazing!
These people are still working,
while at a press conference, the heads of their ministry
are already presenting unambiguous conclusions as to who is to blame.
To date, the Prosecutor’s Office
has accused 12 members of the special unit “Berkut” of murdering peaceful demonstrators.
The then-President Yanukovych was directly in charge of this “Berkut” division.
So, the new government claims that the previous government
of Yanukovych is to blame for the bloodshed.
But what did really happen on February the 20th?
Undoubtedly, the demonstrators were moving along Institutskaya Street
in the direction of the government building.
They are being fired at from the opposite side:
from the roof of the Cabinet of Ministers, the central bank and other government buildings.
But from the very beginning there were hints
that they were shot in the back from their own headquarters in the hotel Ukraine.
But what evidence is there for this?
Firstly, this video, which clearly proves
that an oppositioner with a metal shield is pierced by a bullet from behind.
The man in yellow, seen in these shots, makes an even bolder statement.
On this day, he spent many hours with the demonstrators on the Institutskaya street.
His name is Nikolai.
We met with him at the scene of the incident.
He even claims that the oppositioners were shot in the back several times.
– Yes, on the 20th we were shot in the back from Hotel “Ukraine”,
from the 8th or 9th floor.
– From the 8th or 9th floor. – Yes, in any case, from somewhere above.
– From up there?
– Yes, there were people standing up there and shooting at us
and from the other side they were shooting at us too.
– And who was shooting at you? – I do not know that.
– Do you have any ideas?
– They were mercenaries. In any case, professionals!
This is the Hotel “Ukraine”. At that time, the central headquarters of the demonstrators.
Was the witness mistaken?
At night we are meeting with the Investigator Sergei.
With the help of a laser, he shows us that bullet channels
point not only from the side of the government building.
Some channels in the trees point in the opposite direction.
If you shine the light through the exit and entrance holes,
the beam will point to the Hotel “Ukraine”, at that time the central headquarters of the opposition.
But this fact does not quite coincide with the version of the Prosecutor General,
who finally accepts us after lengthy requests.
He received this post from the new government and belongs to the ultranationalist wing
of the then opposition, the controversial “Svoboda” party.
– We can already say today that
the evidence and expertise that are available indicate who is fundamentally
to blame for the sniper attacks.
This is former President Viktor Yanukovych,
the former chief of staff, and the former Interior Minister Zaharchenko.
– Do you know that there were also snipers from the Hotel “Ukraine”?
– We are investigating.
So, are the snipers all Yanukovych’s men?
But there is other evidence that calls this theory into question.
We are meeting with an amateur radio operator who recorded on that day
the conversations of Yanukovych’s snipers among themselves.
Their radio conversations prove that someone was shooting at the unarmed.
Someone they don’t know.
Guys, in the area of the barricades, to the right of Hotel “Ukraine”.
Who fired the shot? Ours don’t work against the unarmed.
Guys, this is a spotter. He points in my direction.
Who is pointing from the corner?
On the roof of the yellow building.
From the cinema! From the cinema!
Gone. Someone worked on him. Not us!
Myron. Myron. Are there more snipers out there? Who are they?
We have established that there were not only the government snipers,
but also unknown snipers, who shot at unarmed demonstrators.
And, as this video shows, the one who fired from Hotel “Ukraine”, also fired at the police.
Does Yanukovych order to shoot at his own people?
It’s unlikely!
So, were there snipers of the then opposition?
Definitely, among the peaceful demonstrators, there was a group of radicals with professional weapons
as these images show.
And on the 20th, Hotel “Ukraine” was completely under the control of the opposition.
We are talking to eyewitnesses from Hotel “Ukraine”.
Journalists, oppositioners – they all confirm to us
that on the 20th of February the hotel was heavily guarded by the opposition.
It is unlikely that any sniper could have sneaked into the hotel unnoticed.
Could the radical oppositioners themselves do the shooting to sow chaos
and to attribute blame to Yanukovych?
The Russian channels are distributing pictures that show exactly this.
Our investigation showed that the pictures were indeed taken at Hotel “Ukraine”,
but it was not possible to determine who exactly fired and at whom.
One thing is certain – they shot not only at the demonstrators, but also at the police.
It’s even possible that it was the same sniper.
We are meeting with one of the few doctors who examined the victims from both sides.
The victims, examined by us had identical bullet wounds.
I’m talking about the type of bullets that we surgically removed – they were identical.
I can’t say anything more.
– Those bullets you… – …were found in both the opposition and the police.
Why is the Prosecutor’s Office not dealing with this question?
The German Foreign Minister and the European Community
already in February signed an agreement according to which:
The question of guilt in Ukraine is a central political topic
that needs to be brought to conclusion
in order to strengthen confidence in the new Ukrainian government.
But now there are more doubts about whether the investigation is really factual.
Even among their own employees.
We talked to a high-ranking member of the investigative commission.
He told us incredible things:
“The results of my investigation do not agree
with what the Prosecutor’s Office claims.”
Who made sure that some of the evidence was not taken into account or even disappeared?
Similarly, the lawyers of the victims’ relatives, who, in fact, are on the side of the new government
complain that they do not receive any information about what the Prosecutor’s Office is doing.
We were not told what type of weapon was used.
We don’t get access to the results of the reports.
We don’t get the operational plans.
We are not receiving any documents on the investigation.
The prosecutor’s office does not show just any papers.
– And the results of the ballistic examination? – No!
– The results of the medical examination?
– I was allowed to read it, but not to copy it.
– I wasn’t shown the results of the ballistic reports.
A lawyer for the injured goes even further.
We all don’t get access to any investigation documents.
And if you ask me, there’s a simple reason for that.
It’s not being investigated properly.
As a lawyer for the victims, I tell you,
the prosecutor’s office doesn’t investigate properly.
They cover their own. They are just as biased as before.
They want to do what they did during the Soviet Union or under Yanukovych –
keep everything under wraps. That’s it!
The Bloody Thursday.
More than 30 people were killed in Kiev that day.
A bloodbath in the centre of a European city!
Our investigation shows that in Kiev, people are already being presented as guilty,
although many facts point towards the opposition.
Clues that are not being pursued!
And it is possible that there are third parties that participated in the shooting.
The Kiev Prosecutor General’s Office is confident in its conclusions.
We are not!
With all the open questions, the representative of the nationalist “Svoboda Party”
in the role of Prosecutor General obviously only hinders the investigation of the Kiev massacre.
And this casts a shadow on the provisional government,
and at the same time on every Western government that supports this government in Kiev.
Until now, NATO has maintained that it is not interested in a military confrontation with Russia.
But in relation to another conflict this scenario may soon become a reality.
Turkish President Erdogan is working hard to involve NATO in the Syrian civil war.
And at the same time, he is obviously not even hesitating
to invent a pretext for war against Syria with his own hands.
A madness that could have devastating consequences
Since if Turkey demands help from NATO, it is possible that German soldiers will have to participate in this.
Those who are already located in the area of the Turkish-Syrian border.
Nicholas Steiner and Marcus Seitler.
This film is about the dangerous politics of one of our NATO partners.
We are talking about high-explosive recordings and secret military plans,
about propaganda and how quickly Germany can be dragged into an uncontrolled war.
“Syria is at war with us,” the Turkish president said a few days ago.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, our NATO partner in the war with Syria.
Erdogan is playing with fire.
Erdogan is heating up the situation in Turkey.
This serves his own domestic political interests,
and at the same time he cares little about his NATO allies.
Such allies as Germany.
The German Bundeswehr has deployed Patriot missiles and hundreds of its soldiers in Turkey,
to protect this country, which has long been embroiled in the Syrian civil war,
which has been going on for 3 years and is supported by Turkey.
