My dear countrymen and countrywomen,
When I first heard of Ladonia, last year, I thought
it was a very nice idea. Besides, it was something that
was preesented to me by an old and beloved friend,
Vera Porad.
After a while, I thought I should do something else
than just subscribe for a citizenship. No, that would
be too little for me.
Why not offer myself for spreading out the great name
of LADONIA thru out the whole world? Yes, me, a
simple Brazilian can do it. First of all, can you
imagine how charming it would be to have a president
from a Third World country?
Someone from a Third World country always inspires
people in Europe to give more attention to certain
matters. It´s some sort of guilty complex that affects
almost everybody living above the Tropic of Cancer.
Add to that the fact that Brazil has the largest
biological reserve of the whole planet. Also, Brazil
is a country always portrayed by the international
media just as a place where the human rights are not
respected.
So, you see, in the same way Ladonia is persecuted
in Sweeden, Brazil is illreported in the rest of the
world.
As a journalist myself (currently working for a daily
paper in Brazil), I think I am fully prepared to
foster the Ladonia´s ideals of liberty.
Think about it when you choose the president
for our country!!
Best Regards,
