We were taking a look at the map of Ladonia today and
suddenly realized a remarkable coincidence. In 1986 we
were blessed with a daughter that already in Ywonnes womb
got physical abnormities (called Meckel's Syndrom) which
made it impossible for her to create lungs and thus to
survive in the outside world. Nevertheless she had unusually
strong spiritual powers and we could "communicate" with her
already in her second week and soon we knew her name was Jenny.
She still is always spiritually with us (including her
younger brother and sisters). After her cremation we wished
to spread her ashes in the sea. The Swedish authorities let
us know we were only allowed to do that within a specific area.
As usual we didn't care much about the Swedish bureaucracy
but instead we brought her ashes with us down to Skåne.
When we got to Mount Kullen we found a spot just north of
Ladonia which was just right for her. A sunny afternoon
in the summer of 1986 we spread the ashes of Jenny into the
foaming, spraying braker waves lustily splashing into the
dark cliffs below us and we are sure that some of those
ashes drifted out to settle in the Mare Jenny. Shortly
after that we visited Ladonia (though we didn't know it
at the time) and climbed Nimis for the first, and thus far,
only time in our lives. We will happily return to Ladonia
this year to once again get in touch with our spiritual
bondage to Jenny and to Ladonia. Btw who knows if it wasn't
Jennies spiritual powers that gave name to the Ladonian
sea. Even if some of you may believe it was something else.
Cum spiritu Jennie
