Requests for a definition of art are useless. It is the Socratic fallacy to assume that a definition gets us nowhere. Art is Art. You know it when you see. Also, remember G.K.Chesterton's words: " to do art is to draw the line somewhere".
We all draw the line in different ways but there's the rub.
For God's sake, let us stop tinkering with words and create! Let us be art! Let us do art! Let us start smashing the idols! Let us philosophize with a hammer!
