I sit back and watch the Swedish news, angry political persons grappling for eachothers throats, and I wonder...
Ladonia is a peaceful nation, we have no real armed forces for one thing...
But I am concerned when it comes to our nearest neighbour, Sweden.
One day we can be assured that the Swedes realise that Ladonia isn't just going to go away if they just sit and wait for it to do so.
Some political leaders might even think it embarrasing to know that Ladonia broke free from Sweden without as much as a big exchange of words and an angry debate that would stop us.
What if Ladonia would be invaded? What do we have to put agains our agressive neighbours?
You might think that we are all safe and cozy because we are such a small country and that nobody would ever want to invade us...that might be the case...for now...
What about a few years from now...when Ladonia has five, no ten thousand inhabitants?
I think that the Swedes would start to take notice of us then...
We need to make plans for our beloved country.
We need a plan...something that would save us from occupation if we were invaded.
Since there isn't anyone living in Ladonia we couldn't base any troops or defense-forces there.
We have to find another way of keeping our borders safe.
Let me make a suggestion. Our citizens are all in some way related to the Internet, if we would be attacked we could always find a way to retaliate via the Internet. We could recruit an army of computer-brainiacs that could use their UNIX-terminals and their abnormal minds to aid our cause.
If a country were to attack and invade us, we could let our army of geeks loose on them.
We could cripple their economy, wreak havoc upon their sensitive computer-based society.
It would surely be a fight that we could win, we just have to be prepared.
Now I am not suggesting anything of agressive nature, just that we might be prepared if we are faced with an agressive situation.
Think about it, I'm sure that we shall find a way of keeping Ladonia free and happy.

Oh...by the way :) !
