I think there should be some kind of combination of freedom of religion and freedom from religion, in that everyone
should be allowed to believe in whatever they want, but also to not believe in whatever they want. And you should
also be free from people who try to impose their beliefs on you. (You might argue that that is what I am trying to
do here, but I am merely expressing an opinion that I am prepared to give up, if properly convinced.)
Basically, I think that religion has done more harm than good. Just look at how many wars throughout history there
have been, where religion or similar things have NOT played any part or been used.
I also think that religion suppresses a lot of creativity, in that you have to conform to rules, which, I admit,
sometimes, but not always, have their origins in ordinary common sense.
I know that most of this has been said before, and certainly better, and I would just like to conclude by saying
that in Ladonia there should be no more religion than capitalism or socialism, let us just stick to humanism.
