: : Not knowing the proper procedure, I am about to propose making Richard M. Stallman an Honorary Citizen of Ladonia. I shall shortly address Lars Vilks with this proposition. Richard M. Stallman is the founder of Free Software Foundation and the GNU Public License, a co-developer of GNU/Linux, and the programmer behind GNU Emacs and GNU C Compiler (gcc). He has done rather a lot in making Earth a better place and, I believe, deserved to become a Ladonian citizen!

: Of course... Why not Linus Torvalds to... It's getting more and more obvious that they have done lots more for the PC world than Bill Gates and all of his profit-hungry friends.. Maybe Ladonia should make it's own Linux dist. for it's citizens?? Would be nice...

Splendid! Linus Torvalds contributed with the most important part of the operating system - the kernel, plus lots of ideas. I have today sent a proposition to State Secretary, the Queen and the President on making RMS an Honorary Citizen of Ladonia. I would be glad if Linus Torvalds would also be awarded this title.
