Developer Notes
Half-Life:
- To patch the distribution to its newest state, download the main self-extractor archive, then download all the patches in the given order. The patches are also contained in the self-extractor archives and should be downloaded to and run from SIERRA\Half-Life directory.
- The source RMF files are now dumped into a single directory with one archive per map. Download the desired maps to the SIERRA\HalfLife\fysisk\source directory and unpack them there.
- Choosing "Hazard Course" will bring you directly to the map that is being developed.
- Unreachable places can be reached and deadly heights can be survived by the following means: Run Half-Life with parameters
-dev -console. While playing, access the console by pressing '|' (or '`' on american keyboards). The following commands can be issued:
god - Death? What's Death?
noclip - Did you say I went through that wall?
impulse 101 - That's a lot of ammo!
map mapname - run a spesific map
r_speeds 1 - display drawspeed in f/s and polygon counts
