The July 11 edition of The Ladonia (Texas) News includes an article titled "Ladonia on the Net," by Vee Bledsoe.

Although the gist of the article is Web pages related to Ladonia, Texas, our beloved Ladonia garnered its own paragraph:

"A group in Sweden have formed a new State. It is the State of Ladonia. They have a governmental body and are soliciting citizens to participate in their new stateship. One may choose to be a regular citizen or one my pay $12.00 and become a member of royalty. There are quite a number of pages on the things that are happening in Sweden as a result of this new state. It is obviously a busy undertaking."
